So, based on previous years, here’s my prediction:
June: New software and talk of ARM
Sept: New iPhones, new watches, airtags, Apple TV, HomePod mini, AirPods studio
Oct: New iPad Air, new iPad mini, new budget iPad, new iMac, new 16 inch MacBook Pro, new 12 inch ARM Book.
Sorry if you don’t like it, if these products aren’t ready to ship, they won’t ship. Plus, my guess is that products like AirPods studio and airtags are going to require iOS 14, and obviously any ARM macs need a new macOS.
And my guess is that if the iMac doesn’t get redesigned, they’re going to wait until ARM processors are available, because that processor will probably give them less constraints.
So yeah, I think all the hardware is going to be released in the fall. The only two things I could see them giving small website refreshes during the summer are giving the 16 inch MacBook Pro the 10th GEN processors, and updating the Apple TV. But I’m guessing both of those are going to be in the fall as well

When will lame Tim be **********? Apple can’t deliver on things like a MiniLED IPad and AirPods Pro

Don’t buy, because you want it to go down to see lame Tim canned
First of all, Tim has very little to do with what products they’re going to announce next week. he doesn’t control how much supply they can create, especially with the current pandemic.
Second, the mini LED products were not even rumored for this year, they were rumored for fall of next year. You still got at least 15 months to go.
Third: The AirPods Pro have been out since last october. I don’t know where you’ve been

Just great! What are they gonna spend 2 freaking hours on instead? ohh yeah! Telling us about AR games which no freakin' adult cares about other than the immature 40 year old Apple Fanatic aka iJustine. And then reveal the innovative iPhone OS, which is no different in any way. Just cancel the event, and do a website release of "iPhone OS"
Oh, look. iJustine disliked my comment from her anonymous accounts lol

I have no idea what Mac to buy now... Guess I will just settle for a mini. Really bummed out. Was all jacked up to order a new iMac. I hope Apple is just psyching everyone out. I doubt it though. They tend to disappoint more than they please.

Not surprised. Not a fan either. Talk about coming off as an elitist snob / spoiled brat! She ticks every box. The poster child for “first world problems”. 🤢 ;)

Me too, old iMac is dead. Will have to be a mini to tide me over.

That’s fine as long as the software is pretty f****** amazeballs, but I’m not holding my breath on that one either. Apple is just so much of a “meh” company right now. I’m deeply engrained in their ecosystem and it’s fine I mean I like it and all, but there’s nothing that really wows me anymore. I do hope this changes over the rest of this year and into the next.

Don't worry. the software is going to be very innovative this year, you know, like keeping the same layout BUUUUT making the caller screen smaller. It's something never been done before.....on iOS. hold tight!

If this is another year of “stability improvements” Tim needs to go. These should be updates that happen throughout the year. Bring us features! Then improve THROUGHOUT THE YEAR!

As evidenced by sales, people don’t care about miniLED ipads. No idea what you are talking about with respect to AirPods Pro.

He will be fired when they stop raking in money hand over fist.

Right. Then he would have the time to work on the stability of his marriage

Rule of thumb is that take all rumoured things and take out the 3 most likely things... that's what you get each year. Plus some spec bumps...

I can't see why they wouldn't take this opportunity to release a new iMac. They announced the Mac Pro last year at WWDC, so why not the iMac?

I don’t even want features, I just want a useable professional machine without compromises, which isn’t going to happen. Give me a MacBook that I don’t need a dongle or adapter to use 95% of peripherals, without a touchbar, with an OS that supports legacy apps.

I guess at least they fixed the keyboard, which every other vendor has managed to not even screw up in the first place.

Hopefully iOS 14 brings something to be excited about, but honestly most new features are hindrances. Haptic Touch is absolutely terrible and I wish it could be disabled, and the OS overall just lacks that polish and efficiency earlier versions had.

Yeah it’s Tim’s fault a thing called coronavirus delayed mini LED....last time i checked air pods pro are selling great so what didn’t they deliver on exactly?

i swear the moaners here really should consider android if they think apple are failing.

Why would he be fired when him in charge apple are destroying it with sales from products to services...people here moaned about iOS 13 not being stable enough so if they add less features and make iOS 14 more stable it solves one issue...
