My iPhone 4S has shipped!!

I ordered mine through apple.com and it says "Preparing for Shipment", "Delivers October 14th via Standard Shipping"
It's verizon, btw.
(Still can't get the UPS or FedEx tracking to work though)
 
I still can't find any shipping information for my purchase. Straight from Apple 32gb. Reserved at about 5:30am est and purchased about 8am. It has been preparing since saturday though.
 
I've tried everything. I even made a damn UPS account. I guess it just hasn't shipped yet.

Really? And you put in your zip code too and that Cali order still showed up?

My order number, as shown in my Order History on store.apple.com, is 10 characters: a W followed by 9 digits. The UPS.com reference number contains the same order number without the last 2 digits -- so maybe it's more correct to say the reference number will contain up to eight characters of the store.apple.com order number. Dunno; shooting in the dark here. :)

You're better off searching using your phone number, country and zip code. If you get a hit, you can look at the reference numbers to confirm the order number (you have to be logged into the UPS.com site to see all the ref numbers).
 
Ok, UPS told me that a signature is NOT required and there is NO hold 'til the 14th?! Is this possibly the case??

Ah. Ok. I used the order number, minus the last two digits, but without a zipcode. If I include the zipcode, I get no hits. I guess it really hasn't shipped. Oh well!
 
I ordered my 64GB white AT&T 4S on 10/7 at 5:40am EST. Still nothing...both UPS & FedEx. I just want the tracking number...I know it won't be in early, so I won't even get my hopes up. (or will it?)
 
As someone else pointed out, they won't all be shipping from China. As long as the delivery date on Apple.com doesn't change, I imagine we don't have anything to worry about. When I ordered my iPhone 4 through Verizon back in February, I didn't get the shipment email until AFTER UPS had dropped it off at my house lol.
 
Well.. I got an email from Sprint saying my order has been processed and they provided me with a UPS tracking number.. but it does not appear on the UPS website.

The email also says that it is being held waiting to ship and will arrive on the 14th or 15th.
 
Have checked more than a few times since last night. Still nothing. I guess as long as the order on Apple.com still says delivers Oct. 14th, I should be OK. or at least I a hoping

I have two orders, 1 white 16gb(wife) and 1 black gb(mine).

Got applecare+ on both, both processed seperate.

Mine has shipped and I see the tracking number......hers is still preparing for shipment. I have a feeling that if your still in the preparing for shipment stage, your phone is already stateside and wont ship till wednesday or thursday. Everyone else's is coming from China.

Mine shipped via FedEx and already in Georgia! My shiny new toy needs to come to Florida asap.

Just got my UPS shipment notification. Ordered 16GB white from Apple around 7am last Friday. It's coming from China, so I don't expect it early. :)

Mine still says preparing to ship on apples site but the ups site has it in transit from china to USA.

Both mine and my wife's phones are in Preparing for Shipment, although hers has shipped from China earlier today. The status just hasn't been updated, nor have I officially gotten the tracking number from Apple.
 
Mine is not showing up on UPS either but shows as preparing for shipment on Apple.com.

I received my reservation confirmation on Friday at 108am PST. The email said a following email would enable me to complete the sale since Apple was unable to connect with my service provider.

I received the completion email on Saturday morning and once I completed the purchase my order acknowledgment came at 1131am PST Saturday.

I still have an OCT 14th delivery date but NEED the details. LOL.
