My iPhone 4S has shipped!!

Same here and I live 65 minutes from Louisville.

So the phone is going to sit there for three more days before it's delivered? I imagine it will make it's way to the Northern Kentucky hub, just like any other UPS package has before for me. Technically it would depart for Erlanger, KY tonight, hit the local UPS hub very early morning, and then be out for delivery tomorrow. I wish this was the case, but I won't see it till Friday as I am sure Apple has informed them not to deliver the phones before Friday.

Just a hunch, but considering UPS is a freight company, chances are they're picking up additional freight. They're probably also loading up on fuel for the cross-ocean journey

Any chance for an early delivery on the 4S?

My UPS currently shows it sitting in Louisville. I am 65 mins from there. Normally the process would be for a package to leave Louisville tonight, arrive to Northern Kentucky hub early tomorrow morning and then be out for delivery tomorrow. I highly doubt this will be the case as Apple has prob instructed them not to deliver the phone before Friday. I assume it will just sit at the hub for a day or two and then be delivered on Friday.

mine is still stuck in "preparing for shipment" ordered from apple, got through at 2am friday but got the place holder for att and completed the order at 7:00am pst..didn't get my order confirmation until 11am...it still says "delivers october 14th" so hopefully it shows up on time!

Yes but Apple didn't send me a tracking number, I had to use the track by reference trick to see the tracking info. My order still says Preparing for shipment on the Apple Site but my phone has already made it to Hong Kong.
