im so frustrated ive been tracking this since yesterday
Yeah looks like it to me, hopefully it'll leave pretty soon! I really hope it'll get here on Friday! I'm just glad to know there's some movement vs being stuck in "preparing for shipment."
How are people finding out what their flight numbers are?

Looks like we're on the same flight, As of now there is no flight from Hong Kong to Anchorage so the best thing to do is wait maybe 5 hours from now
I also have the same 11:40PM departure scan and would like to know the flight number!
FWIW, mine still says "preparing for shipment" but I can track it and it's left Chek Lap Kok, HK. I'm assuming it's just a matter of Apple dealing with the sheer volume of orders and thus the slowness in updating status, rather than it having anything to do with from where the shipment is originating.

I can't believe mine still says "processing items" and has not EVEN said prepping for shipping. However the lady I spoke with at apple said the phone will arrive on friday by whatever means necessary as far as expediting goes to get it here. So, mine may not even ship until Thursday!

Nothing at UPS or Fedex about my shipment yet. I ordered from apple.com around 9:15 EDT on 10/7.
I just successfully found my flight using Flightaware.com. Its really easy to find the UPS plane that yours is on if you compare the flight times with your tracker times.

Still "Preparing for shipment" for me. I ordered two AT&T white 32gb and one white AT&T 64gb through the Apple Store around 7am on Friday. I'm getting a little worried, although I'm more positive now that I've seen some Apple reps have said some are already stateside and just waiting to be picked up. I'm going out of town for the weekend on Friday evening so I'll be pretty disappointed if they don't deliver on Friday.
Like I mentioned before, I think we'll be on flight 61. It's the first flight out for Oct. 12th. It makes the most sense for it to be on that flight.
Me too. Wish (edit guess thats all I can do since early pickup is not possible) my relatives could pick it up for me and drive down to chicago too.

I live five miles from the UPS hub in Louisville where my wife and stepsons 16gb White 4S's are sitting.... and will sit til Friday. That is frustrating when you think about the fact it is 5 minutes from me.
And I called the hub last year for early pickup and was told no.
But I knew when I ordered it that it would be here Friday so whether it sits there 3 days as it will be or just 5 minutes, we will still get them on the date I was told!

One person who spoke with UPS said there were no hold instructions. I'm going to go ahead and be cautiously optimistic! Has anyone's left Louisville yet?
Probably because your phone is already located in Texas where you are. And all the people who are getting there "Shipped" orders....those peoples phones are coming from China.
When I did a advanced replacement through Apple once when they sent me a brand new phone in July, mine said Processed until 2 days before I received it.
