you guys tracking your iphones to their specific flight plans leaving Alaska/China are fascinating to me. The amount of effort to know EXACTLY where your gadget is on its way to you..
If only Osama Bin Laden had your iphone 3g preorder in '08 i bet we would have caught him years ago

I can't believe mine still says "processing items" and has not EVEN said prepping for shipping. However the lady I spoke with at apple said the phone will arrive on friday by whatever means necessary as far as expediting goes to get it here. So, mine may not even ship until Thursday!

Oh no! You mean they are promising it to be delivered...on the day they promised originally? THOSE BASTERDS!

Is there anyone that ordered through Verizon that has a ship confirmation???

I ordered through Verizon. I do not have a ship confirmation, but I do have a tracking number with FedEx.
My order status at Verizon only shows the tracking number. Status and ship date are both blank. I did not receive a confirmation email, shipping confirmation, or credit card charge yet. My package was picked up and is hanging out at the FedEx facility in Memphis Tennessee.

Edit: I just received an email notification that my credit card has now been charged by Verizon Wireless!!!

shipped

I ordered my black 16G from Apple at 4:41 pm on friday. This was after a problem with the reference number not working after trying to order at 0200. It shipped from China and I have not got a tracking number, but the phone number trick on UPS worked.

What time is the flight?

Looks like its set to depart at 4:05 pm their time, that would be 3am EDT for me. The flight after that one is 63, and it leaves at 7:15 pm and then one last one leaves at 9:15 pm, which is 59.

Just FYI
These are my order details thus far:
Shenzhen, China 10/11/2011 11:40 P.M. Departure Scan
10/11/2011 8:31 P.M. Origin Scan
China 10/11/2011 9:14 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

I can't see it on flightaware.com what i am only seeing is Flight 63 which is now closely arriving to Anchorage.

PS. Is it possible that UPS sent our parcel to Anchorage without going to Hong Kong?

I just checked the flights and my Iphone should be leaving Louisville at 3:52pm EDT and arriving in Oakland at 5:13pm PDT.

Now I see it, so from hongkong, its going to japan then to alaska and the last one is kentucky?

You know, I saw that too. I don't know why that one is going to Hong Kong first then Alaska and onto Kentucky. If you notice the other two flights listed both go to Anchorage, but one goes to Louisville thereafter, while the other to Ontario.

Mine went from China, To Hong Kong, then Alaska, Then louisville. now it should be leaving in 10 minutes to go to Oakland.

the Anchorage and louisville stops are UPS INTL hubs. Oakland is my regional hub.

Anyone from MD have it shipped yet? Still preparing for shipping online but when i call it tells me prepared for shipment.

AT&T iPhone 4S 64gb!

My status is still chillin' on "Label Created"....

Wonder if that means we'll be on Flight 63 instead...

Hey, I'm from B'more and I got same model as you in white and mine has already been shipped and is on its way to Anchorage, Alaska.

If UPS isn't holding shipments in Louisville and they sort and ship by tomorrow afternoon, I'll have my new iP4S by end of day Thursday - even if they ship ground from Louisville to Chicago!

If it goes out today, it could be delivered as early as tomorrow, which won't matter as I won't be here to sign for it anyway. Thursday would be the best delivery day for me - not that it matters either way to anyone but me.

Anyway you cut it, we're getting our phones on or by the 14th, which to me is just fine. I'm more than glad my order wasn't cancelled or delayed for a later shipping date like some. My order is still showing as "Preparing to Ship" on the apple website. If it wasn't for the little reference number trick, I would have been pretty worried I wasn't getting my phone.

ATT Pre-orders tracking info

AT&T is shipping all of the pre-ordered IPhone 4S' by FEDEX.

Check your confirmation email; at the bottom of the page it specifically states that it will be shipped out that way.:apple:

Is it sad that part of my wishes my phone wasn't already stateside, and was coming from China, just so I could take part in following the progress of it for the next few days, rather than having no information because it is sitting in a warehouse in KY?

actually it should start from hong kong but the weird thing is it will also go to japan
