My new macbook pro is prepared for shipment!

Looking back at the previous shipping notices, we can expect it to become 'In Transit' from Shanghai in about three hours, then go through an 'International Shipping Release' in when it arrives Anchorage.

It leaves Anchorage as 'Departed FedEx Location' around ten hours from now.

You can then expect it to 'Arrive at FedEx Location' the next morning, which may be your local destination if you are near a hub and you might get it that day.

FedEx uses local time in their updates, so it can be challenging figuring out what is going on when.
 
My ADC Student Membership was verified and my order was cleared late Friday, the status for the MBP is still Not Yet Shipped. I'm hoping something will happen. Is this the order of status'? Not Yet Shipped, Prepared for Shipping and Shipped?

I missed FedEx delivery guy while taking a shower this morning :mad::mad::mad:

So gotta wait until 4pm today to pick it up from the warehouse. Can't wait:D:D

Looks like I am in the same shipment as a few of you. I am in Hawaii, so I wonder if they will still ship mine through Alaska? It would be nice to have a FEDEX Estimated time of delivery.

I ordered my BTO 2.8ghz at 12PST on the 15th for the record.

its weird ... tho my status says 'in transit' ... im confused as to why it would be marked 'package received after cutoff' ... then 3 minutes later it says it left the fedex origin ... ? I am seeing people with similar updates, but lacking the 'left fedex origin' ...

I also paid to expedite ... i wonder if that makes the difference ... ?

I have the exact same tracking info...this is a first for me in my experiences ordering from Apple. It usually goes from Shanghai to Alaska. Strange. I wonder if FedEd had to re-route at the last minute?

Could be-mine is 2.8 ghz with 7200 320gb hd scheduled for delivery on the 22nd.

I got the 250g 7200rpm drive for the new macbook pro ... and my last update shows its in transit ... Ordered oct15 3pm

I called the guy at UPS, and even he doesn't know where exactly my MacBook Pro is. He thinks maybe they are trucking it down from Alaska...
 
how much time took you guys to change your status from "Not yet Shipped" to "Prepared to ship" and from there to "Shipped"?
 
I was "Processing" from last Tuesday, Oct. 14th @ 5pm to Friday morning when it switched to "Prepared For Shipping". It stayed that way until today, early Monday morning when it updated to "Shipped".

ETA Friday Oct. 24th via UPS.

2.8ghz, 250GB 7200rpm, w/remote
 
Got mine today with a few issues :( I'll update when I figure something out. My top row of keys is crooked and I have a spot the size of a pin where it looks like a flaw in the aluminum. Apple offered for me to pay for a second computer and then they would swap or I can send mine back and they will build me a new one when they get it back. I don't want to pony up the full price of another MBP.

They offered me 200 to "live with it."

Ouch man, that really sucks. I'm worrying about what I'll pull out of the box as well. At least it sounds like they're willing to work with you on it. Please let us know how things go, and what ends up happening between you and apple. I'd like to know what to expect if there is an issue when my laptop comes.
