I believe mine is still in production.:mad: The MacBook Pro I've ordered on the 15th, has changed from "Prepared to ship" to "Not yet shipped" since Friday. I guess I have to wait for one more week.
 
Well its 8:15pm AEST (5:15pm Shanghai time) and still no shipment update.

Hoping my new baby is on a plane and not sitting in a warehouse gathering dust in the corner! :mad:
 
Finally I was updated to shipping, and I got a tracking number...FedEx website tells me....it was transported to them, but the location was blank, great
 
I hope they bring mine out today, even though its not scheduled until Wednesday. It says it arrived at my local facility last night. Best of luck to all of you guys that are still waiting on FEDEX.

Just found out my friend who ordered his machine THE DAY AFTER mine has just shipped. Mine is still Prepared for Shipment.

WTF APPLE?!? :eek:

I think it's just FedEx being really slow with updating their scans...mine left the Philippines two days ago and the tracking info hasn't updated since....I'm still baffled why mine went from Shanghai to the Philippines in the first place. FedEx has the delivery date by Oct. 22, but in my experience, they're almost always a day early. Still, I'd like to know where my MBP is...or if it's even made it to the states yet!

Looks like your right. Its on the truck. I'll miss them as they deliver while I'm at work. I'm going to pick it up tonight though.

Be glad that Apple used Fedex for your shipment.

Mine is on the UPS slow boat. It moved from Shanghai to Osaka over the weekend and this was supposed to be expedited service.

Aarrrrgghhhh!
 
update: customized macbook pro, ordered Wed Oct 15, 3pm ... just got updated to 'shipped' ...

YeeHaw! I guess I can stop flooding apple with page refreshes every 30 seconds, and start flooding fed ex...

Does that mean its left? or does that mean it leaves tomorrow?

From my experience with my order, that means it will leave tomorrow. Congrats on it being shipped though!

Given those that are further in the process than those of us that missed the last FedEx cutoff, we can expect it to update to 'In Transit' in about 3-4 hours.
 
My Macbook Pro was delivered on Saturday morning but I missed the FedEx guy by 15 minutes. Called them up and I was told that the next attempt would be Tuesday, October 21st. I was furious! They told me that I couldn't pick it up Saturday and they also told me that they don't do home deliveries on Monday, only Tuesday thru Saturday. My package has just been sitting there on the truck for 3 days. Finally told them that I will be picking it up myself on Tuesday morning 8am.

I am so sick of waiting. Is it normal for UPS to just stop updating their website? I honestly have no idea when my computer is even ESTIMATED to arrive, I just know it is in the US somewhere
