Waited 20 mins only to be told my session had expired, back to square one. Aaaaaaargh.
I moused over my cart by accident and one of the previous 100 attempts to get it in my cart was a success!

I did no problem. Its towards the middle highlighted in blue for existing customer. The other selections are green for new data plans
Ordered my wife's iPhone through Premier this morning. When I check my status, it says this....

Ordered two iPhones at 0530 from AT&T w/ a fan discount and I'm having them shipped to a diffrent address that's not on my billing info. Received both confirmation emails shortly afte I ordered them. Hopfully I ordered early enough to get them on the 24th
Frick I tried at least a dozen times..... got as far as select a data plan.

True, I did it through Apple and printed the confirmation page with order number and took SS just in case.no confirmation email yet, but thank god my order is showing up on my att wireless account now in check order status. 32GB black iPhone 4 : In progress
Just because you didn't receive an email yet or one at all does not mean your order did not go through.
What I did to get it to work (besides pure luck) was to stop refreshing like a mad man and wait a few minutes. Then, as long as you've gotten as far as adding it to the cart, mouse over the cart on the main store.apple.com page and then click check out. It still times out once in a while but worked more often then not. Once you login in with your Apple ID just go fast as hell to finish.
It seemed to take forever, but I eventually managed to pre order about 2 hours ago. I'm getting it delivered in the UK and I got a confirmation email too. Bring on the 24th. Between now and then, I just need O2 to cooperate and get my account put onto a new Micro SIM.
Ordered thru ATT at 6:15 am today. Was done in less than 5 minutes. Got the confirmation email in about 15 mins.
After trying again & again with 2 different browsers since 7am, I finally got thru on apple.com and ordered.
But it wouldn't let me ship to an address other than my home address. Looks like I'll be working from home that day.

Done with mine, finally. I've been trying off and on since before this thread was started.
I almost had it earlier but I still had my AT&T billing address at my parents house, been at college for a few years and just never changed it. Had to go to AT&T website to change it to where I'm currently at but by that time Apple's site was down again, then once it got back up had several 'Oops!' pages.
