"My pre-order is done" Thread

Wanted to order through Apple.com, but I could never get very far. Then, I was scared that I was going to make it to the last step and get rejected because of my FAN. Ended up ordering through AT&T's site after many failed attempts.
What is point of offering pre-order when you can't place an order. Been trying for 3 hrs and apple doesn't work and can't log in to my att account. Went to the att store and their "network" was down too. ridiculous.....
Tried online for nearly 2 hours (while doing other things.) Finally said F it and went in to a brick n mortar store. Took 5 min, no line, friendly girl at the counter. Ah well, it's done now. Too bad no white, but whatever.
Took several hours but finally got one pre-order to go through via ATT Premiere. Got the confirmation just a bit ago. Trying to do another but their site is down...again. This is a ridiculous experience.
I'm starting to think the problem is with AT&T's system... Supposedly there's been international orders working, and I finally got to the last step in my order, but couldn't buy from apple.com - got an error that it couldn't verify with AT&T, only could reserve for in-store pickup...
It's the biggest ****-up I've seen in a long time. People are lining up at stores trying to pre order. I just wonder how many of them ask for the white iPhone and then walk out of the store with their head hung low.

Unfortunately, nothing is guaranteed, but their intentions is to have it to everyone on the 24th.
Last year, the Apple Store had separate lines for preorders and non-preorders. So, I plan on getting there at least by 5am.
Not sure on that one. The AT&T Site was the only place I could go though so I took the plunge even though they didn't have the white 32GB that I wanted. I ordered early this morning and I'm not sure when they will ship it. The confirmation email that I got stated that pre-orders would be shipped the 24th and overnight via FedEx, but I clearly remember the PR saying that it could get there on the 24th. So confused!

My order won't go through on Apple. The Apple site seems snappy but hangs whenever it tries to interact with ATT.

It seems to be more AT&T and not so much Apple. As soon as it finally went through my AT&T verification process, the rest went rather quickly.
I couldn't take it anymore...tried from 8am-11am EST and could not reserve via ATT or Apple.
Walked into Best Buy 30 min ago store was empty and in 3 minutes reserved my iPhone 4 32GB Black.
Will pickup the 24th.

Now it is still not giving me the option to deliver at home. But at least I am getting that far..
