My rev.E 12" pb...EXPLODED

ugh, apple can't do anything right. they say they'll send you a 15" but give you a 17" instead. i'd call and complain. congratulations, btw.
 
My eyes are bleeding with jealousy. I love my 17" PowerBook. The 17" screen really is nice. Let us know all about it after about a week with it.

This gives me the itch for that new Apple smell....

i rewrote it :/ I got it back yesterday and the teacher gave me a C :( I was pretty disapointed because I thought I'd get a better grade because I rewrote it and had better ideas for writing it, but I guess she didnt buy it :/

OH MY GOD TELL ME ABOUT IT!! I just love that smell! I was sitting typing on my new mbp and I noticed that wonderful new smell and I was like ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
 
Wow! Congrats on the new MacBook Pro. What's it like going from a 12" to a 17" notebook though? That thing looks *huge* :eek:

Sucks...(about the paper) but I'd take a C on my next paper for a new MacBook Pro!
 
Congrats man! I figured an exploding laptop would warrant a free replacement regardless of warranty. Nice of em to go the extra mile and hook yah up with the top of the line instead of trying to pawn a MB off on ya.

Enjoy a hopefully explosion free laptop.

Actually its nice, because when I had my 12" I was always complaining about the small screen (I do alot of photoshop) and now its just great having that extra room and brighter screen!
Portability is an issue because I use to take my pb with me EVERYWHERE. Thats probably the reason why it broke down so quickly. So, this time I dont think my mbp will be leaving my desk :/

Aww, that sucks. At least you have the MBP to make up for it. :D
you could also backtrack adn try the "my computer exploded story" just for kicks
 
Did I miss something or did this guy not answer the question about whether or not his battery was part of the recall program?

I've been following this thread ever since the battery update, and I just wanted to say congratulations on the brand new MBP!! I can also relate with the new Apple smell; my mac book still has that smell when it gets hot.

I would never do that to my latptop!

Then again.. its a MBP :D :p
