So I tried being naked this past weekend. It was very nerve wracking. I was afraid of dropping my phone so much that the mental anguish simply wasnt worth it. I had my otterbox back on it before lunch on Saturday.

I simply can't handle the stress of it.

If this stresses you out to the point where you cant handle it how do you deal with life itself or even make it thru your day? Serious question.

The only drawback for me going naked is how hot these 5s' get. I mean I've been on the phone and had to adjust my grip and take the phone away from my face because it gets uncomfortably hot. Some of the people on here spend 35 on a plastic case when a new screen costs like 40 bucks lolol

I've gone from using cases to using bumpers and, now, to using nothing except a screen protector on front and back. I find I'm more careful with my phone when it's naked, so as a result I haven't dropped it yet (knock on wood). I don't really stress over it though, and if something happens I'll get it replaced, but I know that's not always an option for everyone.

I was being a tad dramatic, but I just prefer to be on the safer side of things. I never gamble, nor take dangerous action. It's just how I am. And my life is very comfortable and reliable because of that.

Never have a case on it. Dropped it today and scuffed the corner but it's ok
No big deal:)

See, that's EXACTLY why I use my Caudabe Veil. For these situations exactly. I'm fine if the case sacrifices itself to save my phone, it was only $15 anyway. But, having that piece of mind that my phone at least has some protection, while still feeling like-naked to me is worthwhile.

I don't want to pay for Applecare because it just seems like money wasted considering you have to pay the upfront fee and then a deductible. For me, it's not worth it because I generally am very careful with my phones.

A little protection goes a long way.

More than 4 times I tried to put a protector on my ipad to no avail, it comes out in bubbles and trapped dust. No thanks. I did manage to put a tempered glass shield on my iPhone

Yep. That's why I'm a big fan of the caudabe veil as well. I can set my phone down on any surface without worrying about scratching the phone.

This will sound odd, but turn on the shower in your bathroom and let it steam up. Turn off the shower after a few minutes and then go in with your phone and screen protectors. Voila, homemade clean room with no dust. Air bubbles can be pushed out with a credit card or something similar.

I will never ever put a cover on my iPhone

It's like putting an ugly dress on a beautiful girl

Hi everyone, i've been trying a lot of different cases/back covers/bumpers for my 5s and i still can't find the perfect one. I think the size, weight and feel of the naked iPhone can't be experienced with a case; however, it's too scary for mee to not use any protection on my 5s.

To those who don't wear any cases, do you recommend it? Is your iPhone too damaged, scratched, etc.? Have you ever regret not using a case? Please convince me to go naked:D

As sexy as a naked iPhone is, it's a little skinny for my fat hands. I really like the otterbox commuter.

"He was knocked down by a bus and was killed" but his iPhone was in an Otterbox and is ok!

I finally bought this: http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi®-TechSkin-Definition-Anti-Bubble-Replacement/dp/B00CTVJGKI

I've only applied the side/corners and back protectors, but no the screen protector (i've never liked to use screen protectors, i don't like its feeling). The iPhone looks like naked, but it has at least good protection against scratches. Best solution for those who want the look&feel of a naked iPhone but also want to protect it against small scratches. Bye bye ugly cases!:D
