Or, be smart and for a few bucks, protect a several hundred dollar device that's integral to one's work life and entertainment pleasure!

Some people are simply more prone to dropping things-- or use them in ways and places that lead to drops… for them, it's being very mature to recognize that and get a case!

Experience is a great teacher, too!

I know tons of people that have broken their phones with cases on them. I also know tons of people that have had damage from the case itself. Your opinion may be that it's "smart", but it's just your opinion.

Here's my mature iPhone case

I have a small chip in the side in mine, but if aesthetic is so important, I can cover it up with a case later. Should it break, I have applecare+ anyway

Don't currently use a case due to the bulkyness. Found gelaskin case and ordered one. It's not really a case but a skin which is light and still would keep the design of my device seen. Also it seems to be a great way to customize an iPhone.

use a case or else. You should just buy it for the sake of buying it. Be an american. even if you arent.

Dropped my naked iPhone 5s onto bathroom tiles at work today. I went to put it in my shirt pocket and missed! Straight onto the hard floor with a clatter! However, not a ding or scratch at all. I didn't even have my Caudabe on.

While going naked looks great, you have to be ready to pay the price - I am. After one of my cases caused a few light scratches, I decided to go naked. Since that time the phone fell a few times, I have a slight dent by the mute button and scratches around the bezel. Still looks better than in a case and if I decide to cover it up, the case will service its purpose then.

I agree, it feels nice to not have a case, but I think that they are just such a good idea. I'll continue to keep the case on, until that nano-protection is available. I saw a video for it- you spray on this stuff, wipe it around, and it protects your phone for forever. Looks unreal.

Or, quit sweating the small stuff in life like a scratch on your cell phone. You know... Grow up...

Oh really? So to grow up = not mind when your expensive stuff gets messed up?

I disagree with all my soul. When i was growing up, my parents told me to take care of all my things. I believe that that is a measure of maturity when you can fully appreciate how much things cost/how much things are worth.

I go naked and cased up
Today freaking dropped my iPhone 5s at the mall. Didn't want to pick it up expecting the worst. Reached down to pick the phone up..., and not a mark.
Super lucky dropped corner to face and nothing. Meanwhile I have a lifeproof and belkin battery grip case in my car.

I do something similar. I work in constructions and mostly I go naked when in the office and on my day to day. but when I have to go check out a building site or when I go away for a weekend I put a Griffin protective case just to eliminate the possibility of damage.

Caudabe Veil at work. Naked (save for a basic front screen protector) at all other times.

Rocked my 4S for two years completely naked at all times. Had a few minor hairline scratches on the back, and still got the maximum trade-in amount from the Verizon store.

I don't fantasize over Apple products like they're human.

My phone without a case is just that. A phone that's not covered by a case. Is designed to be used plain. Otherwise ergonomics would never be considered.

This.

In need for some advice, i have been looking for some cheap, transparent sticker for the back of my phone since the iphone 5 is so slippery. Is there any suggestions??
