Looks like we all agree that the TarHeels will win the Madness.
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-bas...e-orange-announce-fab-melo-ineligible-tourneyDespite earning a No. 1 seed in this year's NCAA tournament, Syracuse now faces an uphill battle in its quest for a national title.
The Orange (31-2) announced on their website Tuesday that sophomore center Fab Melo will not participate in the tournament due to an "eligibility issue."
"Given University policy and federal student privacy laws, no further details can be provided at this time," the site said.
Melo was held out of three games earlier this season while he resolved an academic issue. Syracuse went 2-1 during that absence.
The 7-foot center has averaged 7.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.9 blocks for the Orange who spent a good portion of the season ranked No. 1 despite multiple off-court distractions.
Syracuse, given the top seed in the East Region, opens play Thursday at 3:10 p.m. in Pittsburgh against UNC-Asheville with a possible third-round matchup against Jared Sullinger and Ohio State.
I'll fill one out once I'm back home. Oh, and:
Hook'em!!!

He made a boo boo signing up.Only one bracket will be counted.
You can't have two picks. That's cheating.
For the first round only, if you pick a lower seed and it wins you get extra points. If the top seed wins its normal points. So if you pick all lower seeds and they all win you will have more points. What is the Add Seed?
I'm not familiar with this concept, is that why my best score possible is lower than everyone else? Is there something i can still do or change?
Good luck everyone, lets have a fun few weeks.
was hoping this would come together. Showed up just for this!
Go 'heels!

Holy cow, Syracuse is loosing at the half. Would be the first time ever that a 16th seed wins if UNC-Ashville holds on.
First round, pick a lower seed get more points. Can someone explain how the scoring system in this bracket tourney works. Cause I haven't been able to figure it out. Maybe, I'm just dense.
I picked 13 games correctly, have 72 points and currently sit in 4th place. Thank you Iowa State and Colorado.![]()
The Bracket Manager product allows several different scoring options. Using the Weight option, you can enter a value for each correct pick for each of the rounds. If you want all correct picks to be worth one point, just enter 1 for each round in the Weight column. The Bonus column allows you to select:
Add Seed - The seed of the winning team is added to the correct pick total.
Ex. If the 12th seed wins and your weight is 1, then 13 points would be credited for the Win.
