Sounds like three people with zero knowledge of a subject passionately defending their completely unfounded assumptions pulled from thin air about a subject of zero importance.Hilarious!Do continue!
Well since you seem to want to share your opinion, do not hold back on our account. Please feel free to add to the discussion. I maybe no expert but I have had a long time interest in material science and manufacturing techniques starting from my love of automobiles.
And I am quite confident that if aluminum was as inexpensive as plastics automobile manufactures like gm would be following the lead of companies like BMW and Ferrari and producing more aluminum body panels instead of plastic. Futhermore the argument could be continued in the argument of steel versus aluminum, why should American automobile manufacturers use stamped steel parts when clearly aluminum cost no more than plastics.
Go ahead and say I must be just pulling this out of thin air, but I doubt the American automotive accountants would agree, because I doubt if they had an option they would not want to be part of creating inferior automobiles based on their decisions. There is plently of other evidence through this thread. But I will leave it at this, if the white plastic MacBook is so desired, why is there no 15" or 17" MacBooks?
