Don't delude yourself; I edited only to add the note about typos.
Sure you did. ;)

This is getting really entertaining now! :D

You make typos everywhere and you certainly look like a fool. As you can see, I'm not the only one who thinks this.
I make typos everywhere? I make typos when I type fast, I didn't know I was getting judged by simply making a couple of typos that should be EASILY discernible and ignored in any real conversation or argument. You apparently have no grasp on that, so you pick at a couple of typos just to make your 'argument' more enticing.

You can grin, but you can't hide from the fact that you never owned up to explaining your original post. Here, you explain your typo again. My mind handles that fine. Yours is having trouble with focusing on this:
Let me explain this to you again, step by step since you are having such a hard time understanding.

You will find that your
subjective act of assessing
of yourself
is not shared by people
who know "factual information" when they see it.
------
You will find that the
opinion you have
personally,
is not shared by people
who know factual information when they see it.

d-ass

worst un-boxing video ever. wreck-less fools. I don't think they realise how expensive the equipment they've got is. and why is he tapping it the whole time.

yeah, load of *****

Agree, had the same feeling observing him how he rips off the seal.
And despite editing the serial #, the stripe code is still visible so Apple can easily track it.

In case anybody else missed this, the top is (almost) what you posted on page 10. The bottom is what, apparently, you think it means.

Hahaha....:D

So there we have it. Unbeknownst to you, you just illustrated the source of the confusion as this: it was like you were playing MadLibs with my post, but in a blank labeled "personal quality or type of person" (which is what is needed), you put 'factual information,' which is neither, all the while not realizing this mistake.

This, no doubt, will seem puzzling and unfair to you, but ask an English teacher, or anyone who knows good English, and you'll find people have the same difficulty making sense of what you wrote on page 10, and likewise for the similar thing you wrote above your dashed line. Moral: Don't play MadLibs with people's posts. You're not ready for it.

my thoughts exactly. I liked how he kept throwing parts on top of the machine like it was a tank. and wtf is going on in the background ? sounds like they're building a bomb shelter

Once again we're going over context here, and the context can change from the original person's intention whether the words were simply replaced or not.

Hope you had fun backpeddling your condescending argument. ;)

ARE YOU FOR REAL? ahahahaha

EDIT:

Look, guy, it's simply not about context. Your sentence just doesn't make sense in any context - you are clearly not familiar with the particular idiomatic English construction "know x when see x." Pull your head out of the ground and ask a friend! It'll be for your own good. Arguing with me to delude yourself may work, but is only to your detriment.

Of course it doesn't make sense to you, because then your entire argument would be blown out of the water and we can't let that happen now can we? ;)

Oh wait it already has! HAHAHAHAHAHA

Not to go off topic, but the US defeat in Vietnam was a political one (one of many ways to lose a war) not a military one. Just going by military objectives they were pretty successful.

Reading lots of posts of people against brining manufacturing to the US. I can only assume (and hope) they are made by non-Americans. As they would have nothing to gain but possible slightly higher prices, but if you're an American how can you possibly be against something that brings jobs here? More people making money increases the living standards of everyone around.

Too many people just want everything cheap and only get concerned when it's their job that has been outsourced.
wow ....
Are you proud of a military victory against a third world country ???
I think it is better to stick with aluminum vs plastic debate ;)

Question?? If this is something that's built in 2010, shouldn't the box reflect that? (check the copyright at the bottom) I see a scam. The boxing looks suspect. All the stickers are off.

Because you know, people in this forum have to complain with Apple for something, and they already complained about Core2duo in the MBP 13" thread One month ago ;)

I don't think its as simple as that, really i don't.

Its about the value they've paid for a premium product item in the premium lineup; whose majority of functioning components for using OS X with are so quickly made available to the consumer lineup just an estimated $200-300 cheaper (comparing base prices for uMB vs MBP both 13"s).

Its about the USA dollar falling significantly compared against foreign currency's and thus Apple really SHOULD be providing us with better options in our Premium products.

The fact is we ALL love OS X; and with a quality built product like the MBP aluminum unibody's we should be expected to happily use the products for some 2-3yrs (AppleCare assures this) before the "NEED" to upgrade by even the average consumer / prosumer. Today without USB3 which is quickly being included into high end cpu's and even nettops by Asus soon to ship, I feel Apple should of at least included it with the refresh of the Core i5/i7 15/17" MBPs.

This falls refresh should ALL include the following to be further considered PRO machines:
USB 3.0 (at least 1/2 or 1/3 ports)
eSATA if not the above (powered as well; battery life now supports this)
minimum 3 USB ports ^ make one a combo with the eSATA port, please.

To be honest FW800 is no longer cutting it as a "PRO" product. Many prosumers that use their MBPs for work tools use ESATA capable HDDs or will soon require the benefits of faster daisy chained USB3.0 devices; that is unless FW1600/3200 is to arrive on the scene.

The Mac Pro has the "pro" moniker and delivers, its time the MBP does the same in the hardware; not just the design esthetics.

Finally! Even though I don't have the money to get one yet, this makes me happy! lol

I don't know if anybody's discussed this yet, but I don't think that the aluminum unibodies are worth $200 more than the plastic ones. It seems that aluminum couldn't be that much more expensive.

Just saying.

Oh ignorance; how I loathe thee.

Well, if you're gonna call me ignorant for dismissing the 100th statement, without listening to it, after 99 lies... so be it. I call it earned wisdom. I'm not a scientist, I'm just a guy making decisions based on his own experience.

If an "improved usability" and "crashes a lot less" is enough for you, go have fun with your Dell boxes. I just can't perform with a system that itches every second of being ugly. I deserve happiness :)

What about reading the thread before post ?

Its 2010 so its really disturbing that its only 2 Gigs of Ram included since its so cheap! :S
I actually bought a Packard Bell yesterday with i5, 4 Gig Ram and 640 GB HD. It comes with W7 and Photoshop elements and its priced at just $775 including VAT here in Sweden. That really is dirt cheap! And the quality is pretty decent!
Still its not as elegant as my Macbook but it will be perfect for my studies in Windows servers and network administration.

The white Macbook is entry level and it is the cheapest laptop that Apple sells, did you really expect it to come with 4 gigs of RAM? That is an extremely unrealistic thought. If 4 gigs of RAM is very important to you, then just install it yourself. RAM is dirt cheap nowadays. It's so simple to do, even a caveman can do it. The same goes for the disk drive. You don't like 5400 RPM? Well, you can install whatever you like in place of that, including a 7200 RPM or SSD or whatever you fancy.

Could be a typo. Heh for all we know Apple could be reading this and realize it just now! Thats funny.

What someone needs to do is scan those barcodes. I can't believe the guy didn't blurb out the serial numbers because all Apple needs to do is scan them and they can trace the unit by serial number. It can be done by screen my barcode scanner at work will in most cases. I'd like to try scanning those barcodes tomorrow morning and see what happens.

EDIT: I'm rather curious myself as I was about buy a macbook this week.
