A couple of apps that I was having trouble with are fixed.

Zenbe : Fonts were blank, lists there but you couldn't see them = FIXED
1Password: = Would drop WiFi on sync attempt = FIXED
DirecTV App: would give an error "cannot connect" on start up (or similar) = FIXED *It would still work if you pressed cancel.
Grocery Gadget: would sync once, but crash when you reopened the app = FIXED
Eye-Fi= Always really slow and crashed regularly = FIXED

All in all much faster, more stable and very responsive all around.

I use an Exchange server and have been wondering about the "Push Mail" settings where you can specify which folders to push. IIRC, this was not in 2.2, but it was in 3.0b1. One annoying issue was that new mail that was pushed to a folder would make the "new mail" sound, but would not change the mail badge. I'll have to see how that shakes out with new mail I receive from this point forward.

I think you're right with the subscriptions, but what do you mean by single events? So basically this is to help manage purchases in the store and in apps.

But again, I raise the question, why not call it "App Store"? And why no icon? Just saying it doesn't completely make sense.

Shot in the dark. But how about "STORE" is where we can use iPhone as a disk and store files?

I keep hearing that MMS is enabled. I turn enabled it in the settings but cant seem to find anyway to send one. there is no little camera icon in my messages app. and in the camera app or photos app I cant send an MMS. I am in canada on rogers. is it possible that it is not enabled here?

That's so weird, i just tried it and it worked, but i tried it for the last 10 minutes and got nothing... thanks!

Copy/paste is all a little buggy (at least in beta 1 - haven't tried it in beta 2). I've been playing with it a lot as I'd like to give my customers the ability to copy within my apps. Very inconsistent, with slightly different behavior depending on what type of control you are copying from, and what type of control you are pasting too.

I am amazed how much they got done in 2 weeks!!

A lot of bugs that I previously encountered are all gone.

MMS now works (ATT) without any modifications.

Just a quick question.

I am in the process of developing my own application, but since I only have one phone I've been thinking that I should just wait a little bit before installing 3.0 on it.

Is this release stable enough to be used on a main phone?

Thanks.

A few things I have noticed so far:

  1. TextTwist Turbo is now working
  2. The network preferences don't take as long to appear
  3. The network connection doesn't hiccup when running the iStat app

I'd wait a few days. It's definitely better than the first beta, but it will take a couple of days to see whether this one has any problems that don't show up in the first couple hours.
