New Apple Leather Case

I have a black case for the S and a red case for my old iP5. The black one seems quite stiff around the power button. I'm a little concerned that it will damage the button over time with the force on it constantly. Has anyone else noticed this? Or perhaps that it's a little hard to push the power button through the case? I don't hear the same 'click' through the black case as I do through the red.
I'm going to try stretching the leather a bit by moving the button on the case a few dozen times to get a bit more play in it.

Got the red leather case yesterday (LOVE it) but... sadly... it does not fit in the alarm clock. Since I like the case so much I'm going to give this extender a try before I give up. I really hope it works!

I was in a pretty similar situation. I was set on getting the black one (even though I already have one). But that brown case grew on me at the last minute. I'm very happy with the choice. Like you stated, I love the contrast with the black. I think it will age well.
I bought the black one and find it extremely hard to take off. In fact I did not manage to do so because I don't want to bend my phone or cause damage to it. How do you take this thing off?
And if you place the phone inside the case face down on a table are you able to wobble it around a bit or is it completely flat?

To me this is a GOOD thing, as it limits the ability of the phone to slide around inside the case.
To remove it, work from the bottom corners to pop the bottom of the phone out first, then work up the edges towards the top.
Mine lays flat when face down on a table, holding the screen a smidgen off the surface. Still need to allow for grit and other crap on the table, but thats why I put a screen protector on it. Just picked up a Green Onions oleophobic from microcenter; although labelled for the 5, it fit just fine on my 5s and no issues with the Apple leather case. Although I'm not rough on my phone, I'm willing to give up a little bit of screen feel for a layer of protection from dumbazz moves on my part.

i have seen these, but it would still be very difficult to bend the phone.
do you guys have any idea if there are any adapters for the headphone jack out yet? my aux cable for the car doesn't fit.
Thats the combo that I have and it looks really good. Not sure how durable the case will be with daily use. I sprayed it with leather guard so time will tell
Thanks. Looks really good. I am waiting on my Gold phone and I picked up the brown case yesterday. Still debating on the case. I have had my black 5 naked for many months now.
For those wondering, these are NOT compatible with the 5s dock. I would actually advise staying far away from the dock. It is such a tight fit any dust will scratch your phone, as it did mine.
Glad it's my old 5 and not my new 5s.
I snagged a black one today since they had no red left , I love it it looks really nice on my space grey 5s. After reading that the case was extremely hard to take off I was a little nervous but it was surprisingly easy to take it off and on if you start in the bottom right corner for me. Wishing I picked up the brown though
So has anyone seen these cases anywhere besides the Apple store? AT&T has two colors on their site but none in the store so far.
I read on here somewhere that even the 5C dock doesn't work with a apple cased 5s

Will there be a problem having a skin on the rear side of the phone? It sounds like this case is real tight and I'm wondering if it would fit with a skin on the back. Thanks.
Anyone have any suggestions on a dock that will work with the Apple 5s case? I see the TwelveSouth Hi-Rise, and it looks dead sexy for a dock, but its pretty up there in cost and I'm reading it still fails the "can I remove the phone without holding the down down," test.
Great case !!! BUT .....
I purchased the red version of the apple leather case last Friday. It was an awesome case until I started noticing that the case started to show "blue" marks from my jeans pocket within 2 days!!!
I know that there is a disclaimer that the case may show signs of wear. I have no problems with that but I really don't want a red/blue case with a month !!! LOL
Returned it today and ordered the black color instead.
The colors are great but all will probably have this issue unfortunately
