need full protection

don't know about you guys, but I like to keep mine safe. At least for the first months :D so screen protection comes in first! I have to say Atelier Pall snap wallet pulls it off for me. They have a nice option for iPhone with case on. I thinks it's the way to go if you need full protection & carry essential stuff around ;)

I think leather is more a of a personal item. Buying a SH leather item may not be very appealing, though your price is fairly low. Good luck with the sale!

Yeah didn't think of that. Not worried i will keep it. Funny i was getting leather on the phone when i was taking it in and out. I asked them about it them and they gave me $20 back.

Got to stop buying cases, hopefully this Apple black leather one coming will be it.

Does the case provide much drop protection?

Probably no more so than any thin shell case would provide. It'd be better than dropping the phone naked; won't do a thing for a face-down-on-rocks drop, but the lip should give some protection from edge-on hits as well as drops onto the back.

Better to just not drop the phone, and the leather case does help in that the phone is less slick in the hand.

played with one at the apple store. was almost sold on it... but wow, that is one tough to press lock button.

this is 2013, i'd think case manufactures have had figured this out by now.

nope.

I should of went with the blue case. I think I'm going to take back the red case and get the blue case. Can I still go back to my local Apple Store and exchanged the color? I just bought this case this past Saturday.

nope.

I think the lock button is super easy and squishy feeling. Feels great. Maybe a bad one in the bunch. Everyday I feel this is the best case I have ever owned.

The Twelve South HiRise already exists and is $5.00/ $15.00 USD cheaper.

EDIT:

Now that I've looked at the entire description, it's pretty obvious that it's a blatant copy of the HiRise.

Exactly. Looks like I'm returning my apple dock and getting the hi rise.

So instead of planning ahead and having a case in hand to use, you're abusing the return policy treating the case as a free rental. It's stuff like this that f'd it up for REI members.

HOLY MOLY. Get out of here. I never once said I was returning the case. Pardon me for not "planning ahead" and purchasing a case at the last minute and then writing about it on this forum.

My apologies, I mistakenly thought someone buying a $40 case they immediately planned to replace would return the case instead.

As you don't intend to return it, my comment does not apply to you.

I love my hi rise, its a great dock and i think its kind of future proof in the sense that its adjustable for devices. It is listed that the iPad 4 isnt compatible and I Have used it with my dock with ease.
This is truly a great dock.

I just purchased a black leather case for the 5S, it looks stunning. 50 bucks is hefty but it's sexy as hell on my "Space Grey" 5S. I do notice the buttons are a little tougher to push though.
