Ah, you're right.
Sorry. I didn't catch that part of the thread...
Looks good, by the way!
Aaand now it broke at the headphone port. Ugh. Lots of weeks of wear and breaking it in and now the phone corner at the headphone port won't stay in and keeps popping out. Anyone know if this is a warranty issue and can be swapped? Or did I just spend $40 for a 2 month case... Loved how the brown was breaking in. Would suck to start over.
I bought my Apple red case from CPW in UK and like everyone's, it's dirty, not worn or ageing, it's dirty. I'd like a replacement also but I think it'll be easier from Apple than CPW. I thought (RED) products were on,y sold in Apple stores and Apple online but seen the (RED) case in CPW.
Can Apple tell where I bought it if I just say don't have the receipt and my wife bought it cash?
No emailed receipt I mean? Would they exchange? Are they still giving replacements for it when it's dirty?
Thanks
They only replace it if you have proof you bought it there.
This is not true. They will replace without proof of purchase. I know this for a fact since I have done this for both my bumper on my 4S and the leather case once already.
What did you say then please? Did you buy your leather case from elsewhere? Where?
Thanks

How prone is the soft leather to scratching by laying it on a table?
Not prone at all. I've had my black one for 10 weeks and it doesn't have a scratch on it. I don't sling it around, but I don't baby it either. It seems to hold up to scratches/abrasions pretty well, especially considering how soft it is to the touch.
I keep reading how the headphone port is broken on a lot of cases. How are you guys taking the case off? I always take it off from the top first and never had any issues with rips.
You know it has a short life when they put a disclosure on the back of the packaging that says "this product will change in appearance as you use it". That being said, I love the fit and look of it. No third party case has matched this type of fit, and honestly i don't know why.
Agreed, it's not beyond a company to copy these cases properly and use a tougher material maybe perhaps more colours and then overnight have one of the most popular cases in the world for the iPhone.
