Yeah that's the ad I meant.

Well guess we'll wait till the 6th of november now. Hopefully that guy, Multimedia or something, was right. =)
 
Hope not a mistake

I really hope new MB will be out in 1 - 2 weeks time as I was going to order it with the free Ipod offer, but decided to hang on for the new one.
Hope I didn't make a mistake...:(

Haha same here.. I also decided to wait.

For me it definitely was the right choice, I'll stick to my 4GB Meizu MP4-player (great thing, better than iPods imo)! =D

But waiting does become annoying. Hope they release them soon!

After installing Leopard onto my G4 Powerbook and getting a surprise speed *boost* (try that with a Windows upgrade!!) I'm not in as much of a rush to get a MacBook now.

You'd think this was a bit of a silly move by Apple, but you watch, they'll come up with some killer hardware feature that will make an upgrade desirable (and of course anyone with an older one than 867Mhz is SOL for Leopard).

I dont expect big updates, but any update, either graphic card, casing, anything would be good...:)
Just hope it will happen in 1 - 2 weeks time
 
Right now, I really don't care how big or small the update is. The only thing I care about is when!

I want upgraded macbook today!
 
Graphics card update would be the most important, as well the low-end model to use dvd-+rw... cd-rw's are so yesterday :p I've been waiting update since May as well. Meanwhile have gone thru several lower-end G3 and G4 Mac's :apple::rolleyes: Soon i can't resist and order an Macbook Pro.

no... how could you even suggest such a thing!!! im not even going to get rid of my powermac 5500 or powerbook 150!!!!!

im introducting my gf to the wonderful world that is apple. shes actually going to buy one. i cant wait!! the sad thing is it will most likely be faster than my ol mbp (cpu wise neway)

Think about me, I received my new MB yesterday, and took it back for a refund without even opening the box. Frustrating... :mad:

I ordered on Sunday, then made the mistake of reading this thread before the computer arrived. Then, I got a whole heap of buyer's remorse, worrying that I'd bought the last of the line. So, with tears in my eyes, I took the unopened package back, but I did get a longing look at the picture on the outside...
