Office 365 family (including 6TB of OneDrive) is $130 per year in Australia ($10.80 per month)

Spotify Duo (for 2 people) is $15 per month.

TOTAL = AUD $26.80 per month

For iCloud (only 2TB) and Apple Music Family, it’s Apple charges AUD $33. The bundle will probably be more (TBC). 🧐

If you don’t like the bundles (i.e. don’t need Arcade, and 200GB is too low), there are definitely other options that may be cheaper AND better. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just do some homework.

Ya I personally don't really care for having apple arcade and I'm sure many others don't as well, especially older demographics.

Apple Arcade is complete trash, no wonder Apple is fighting tooth and nail to block xCloud since game pass is 1000x better value.

How do these bundles work if you are part of a family plan but the organizer uses a different account for iTunes purchases (due to legacy content already owned) and for iCloud? Would Apple One be applied to both accounts of the organizer?
Just invite yourself to your own “Family” when you’re ready to do this and then the features will apply to any account attached to your family.
Otherwise I would set it up on your main iCloud account that you want to use long term (disregarding historical purchases) and keep the individual plan.

So I have a family sub to music and the 200gb of storage which cost $22Au. Apple TV+ has had some decent stuff on it but I was debating getting rid, but I would have got it back to watch the second series of shows I’ve enjoyed.
I will be honest I’m really considering the $4 extra to get the family package and keep TV+ and try out arcade.

I’m all in for premier! I already pay for arcade and news + as well as google storage. So going all in would be a decent saving for me as I can switch google drive to icloud and then get tv+ and apple music as well (which I’ll probably not use as I’m a spotify guy!)

But more sh*t to play with for less money? Yup. Sign me up!

Up iCloud storage to 1TB in the Family tier and I’m sold.

that’s what it should be. Even at 50GB for individual is of NO value to anyone as that price is $1.42 CAN it doesn’t really factor into the bundle. The individual bundle only helps those that want Apple Music & ATV.

these are NOT good value at all really.

And WHATS with the triangles with Apple employees presenting lately?!

I tried this but it won't let me add myself because it says I am already an organizer (probably because both email accounts are linked to me).

I really wish there was an easy way to just merge Apple ID's so I could kill off the old one :(

Is there a way to merge separate Store and iCloud accounts?

Today paying $15 a month for Music (family) and separately $10 a month for 2TB iCloud. These are two separate accounts for historical reasons (anyone remember me.com?). Would love to get TV+, News and Arcade bundle for just $5 extra...

I don't see how you save even if you want everything. I have year of Apple TV+ that started two days ago. So Apple Music + Apple Arcade + 50 GB iCloud is $5 + $5 + 1 = $11. That's $4 more than buying them one at a time.
Your math is a little bit wrong here. Apple Music ($10) + Arcade ($5) + 50GB iCloud ($1) is $16. Plus the extra $5 for Apple TV+ once your year is done. So really $21.

unless you’re a student, but eventually that discount will run out too

I have the exact same issue I am trying to resolve. Would love to know how to do this!

I think you can add Apple One Premier to your existing family account and reduce your iCloud to the free tier? At least that's how I read it. It says if you need more iCloud storage you can purchase supplementary in your iCloud sharing plan. Hopefully both storage accounts are merged so if you are paying for Premier you get the 2TB and then if you were paying for 2TB iCloud you would get total 4TB.

I’ve had two Apple accounts since I don’t remember. There was some confusion a long while back during the advent of iCloud. Long story short, one ID has all my iCloud data, another ID has all my iTunes, App Store, and subscription purchases. I would be all for one of these bundles if it weren’t for the fact that Apple still has neglected or just out right refused to create a simple process for merging these two accounts into one. Every time I look at moving all my iCloud data (photos, app backups, etc.) I decide it is just a huge pain in the a$#, so I don’t do it. Why oh why has Apple been so stubborn on this for YEARS. Must be at least a decade now. It drives me mad about once a month.

My only gripe - which will keep me from subscribing - is the iCloud storage. Family should be 2TB, Premier should be 10TB (I'd settle for 5TB).
Agreed. As a family of 4 I’m 100% in on the Premier plan but i already have to have 2tb plans x2 for our needs. Why are we still capped at 2tb. I’m willing to pay for more storage.

I forgot I was getting a student discount. Now on my 15th year and just signed a contract for 4 more. ;) Apple is the only one that doesn’t fight me so I guess I just assumed those were normal prices.

I wonder if they will offer annual pricing. I currently have  Music at $99 for one year. Plus $1/month for iCloud.
Not sure if I'm going to pay for  TV+ once my trial ends. But the Individual bundle, at the monthly price, doesn't beat annual pricing.

Hopefully both storage accounts are merged so if you are paying for Premier you get the 2TB and then if you were paying for 2TB iCloud you would get total 4TB.

So essentially adding my iCloud account as a family member to my Store account. Then downgrade iCloud to free tier and still have 2TB quota available through store account. That might actually work and would not require merging the accounts.

Thanks!

Apple Arcade is a joke. Apple TV+ I have watched like two shows and one move in the free year. Only use Apple Music and 200 GB, so no need for this in my case.

I'm in on the Premier plan. I already do family music and 2TB storage. For $5 more, I get it all. Simple.

Honestly, if it were any more than that, I would be on the fence. But for a little funny money, I'll try out arcade games, watch the occasional show, and read a magazine article or two every month.

Assuming that you need all the services within the bundle.

I need only two: iCloud and Music. That means on the cheapest Apple One, I'm overpaying by $4, or $4 for services that I don't need.

No, thanks.

^This. Zero interest in the TV and Arcade.

Would have been nice if you could get music and TV+ for $10/month seeing as I won't use arcade and the storage is too low, the cheapest bundle is a no go for me.

Well obviously this is geared towards people paying for the subscriptions, and not those who have them for free through various means. It would be silly to completely disregard the bundle just because you can't take advantage of it at this time. Just wait until next year and get it then. The bundle itself isn't changing the services in anyway... the content will be there no matter how you are subscribed.

The new bundles include iCloud storage. It would have been great if they increased base iCloud storage that everyone gets.

Customization would have been good, though. Like everyone else has said.

You should be able to customize which services you want in your bundle. Also does Apple Music interfere or interact in any way with a users local library? I have over 9,000 songs (many in lossless) on my Mac and I don't want Apple Music screwing with it in any way.
