Did that math on my paid services:

Apple Music Family Plan - $14.99
iCloud 2 TB - $9.99
Apple Arcade - $4.99

Total --- $29.97

Ill take the Premier plan, 2 cents less and I get Apple TV+ (without worrying about my 1 year free expiring soon), Apple News+ (eh, Ill try it out since its included), Apple Fitness+ (family plan should allow my other family members to try it out; I already have a gym membership). Overall, I'll get more services and stay the same price. Best thing is that everything is paid as a bundle instead of having it staggered across the month. It would be nice to get a 1 TB option since I am only 74 GB above 200 GB.

Assuming that you need all the services within the bundle.

I need only two: iCloud and Music. That means on the cheapest Apple One, I'm overpaying by $4, or $4 for services that I don't need.

As you said, it's a BUNDLE. Did you think they were just going to discount any two services?

You're not going to be overpaying, because it's not a deal for you. No one is forcing you to buy this and pay $4 extra for services you don't need.

This is a no brainer for us.
We pay ¥1480 for Apple Music Family and ¥400 for 200GB iCloud storage, total at ¥1880 per month.

Apple One Family plan is even ¥30 cheaper at ¥1850 a month, with Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade included on top. Very nice, can‘t wait!

Great news. I will get the Premier plan, as I already have Apple Music, Arcade and iCloud Storage, and only dropped the News subscription to save money. I will have Apple TV, but am currently still on the trial. Plus, it'll condense charges hitting on different dates into one monthly charge.

What would be great is if Apple allowed you to change your charge date for subscriptions to all hit on the same day. I'd be fine with a pro-rated charge. But with several different services, it gets tiring keeping track.

I really hope we get some alternate bundles. I get it that NEWS is only in the top two. It’s probably the LOWEST margin item from apple for them. I’d like TV+, iCloud 200GB, NEWS and maybe fitness for 20$ a month, FAMILY. I’d jump in that for sure.

Up iCloud storage to 1TB in the Family tier and I’m sold.

Exactly! The only thing that is keeping me from being interested. I wonder what the options are for upgrading space when you are in one of these plans? I'm guessing it will be $10 which would essentially force you into the $30 plan anyway.

News is only in the Premier bundle. Wish I could swap it for Arcade, which I will never use.

Is the free year of Apple TV+ subscription able to be used every time we buy a new device, or does it no longer qualify after the first one? Say someone gets a new Apple TV this year, a new iPhone next year, a new iPad the year after, then a new Mac. Does that mean four years of free Apple TV+? If so, that pretty much makes the Apple TV+ portion of the bundle become irrelevant when buying a new device.

Apple needs to offer BYOB aka Build Your Own Bundle.
I agree, but I'm honestly dumbfounded that so many people still think this would have happened. When have Apple ever done anything like this? Apple are all about telling customers what they want instead of actually listening to them.

One only gets one.. technically you could probably keep creating iCloud accounts when you buy a new device and keep getting a free year. Rumor is that the free year with any qualifying device purchase will end this Nov and get shorter

I’ve had two Apple accounts since I don’t remember. There was some confusion a long while back during the advent of iCloud. Long story short, one ID has all my iCloud data, another ID has all my iTunes, App Store, and subscription purchases. I would be all for one of these bundles if it weren’t for the fact that Apple still has neglected or just out right refused to create a simple process for merging these two accounts into one. Every time I look at moving all my iCloud data (photos, app backups, etc.) I decide it is just a huge pain in the a$#, so I don’t do it. Why oh why has Apple been so stubborn on this for YEARS. Must be at least a decade now. It drives me mad about once a month.

Im in the same boat. I wish Apple would just let me merge the accounts. If I were to sign up for iCloud storage, then I’d be paying with two separate accounts. I believe that with the bundle I’ll be able to sign up with my App Store account and receive the 2Tb storage with my iCloud account. Fingers crossed!

Im all over the premier package!

When in the fall do you think it will be released?

I already have 2tb...for myself...and my kids have 50gb each. But I think this will cost me more unless I actually use arcade and the fitness. I’ll give it a whirl and see what the classes are like but the previewed ones seemed a little too peppy for me.

What happens if you have multiple subs that ends in different periods? Will you be able to subscribe annually? My Apple music sub rebill annually on october 1st, and my ATV+ in march along with Apple Arcade in november or december I think.

Agreed. As a family of 4 I’m 100% in on the Premier plan but i already have to have 2tb plans x2 for our needs. Why are we still capped at 2tb. I’m willing to pay for more storage.
You can keep the second 2TB account, you just have to pay for it.

They need to allow customization of the bundle for this to appeal more broadly. Like, why can’t I bundle 2Tb iCloud with Apple Music and fitness+? Or just news+ and arcade? Or everything except Apple Music?
You can. It's called à la carte. Or get the whole bundle that you don't need. It's part of their strategy. Of course most people don't need all these services, especially arcade. It's a product for Wall Street, and for people who actually use all this stuff. You can still sign up for individual services.

I don’t understand how you move from an existing subscription to Apple One. I have the free AppleTV+ subscription until November, Apple Music I pay monthly and Apple Arcade I paid annually which expires end of January.

So if Apple One starts at the beginning of November and I sign up on day 1, will I be paying extra for Apple Arcade until end of January? Will there be an overlap of Apple Music subscription by itself and with Apple One?

Apple then says any services I haven’t already subscribed to are free for the first month of my Apple One subscription. After the free trial, the plan automatically renews as a monthly subscription. I haven’t subscribed to AppleNews+ before. If I get Apple One, which is £30 for Premier, how is AppleNews+ free as I’ll be paying £30 from the beginning?
