New iBook Ship date

We must have the same tracking number... mine is exactly the same - even the times. I didn't pay for the 2-3 day shipping. I called the number from a previous post and they said it should arrive by this Friday, however, she said there's a good chance I'll see it Thursday.

well at least i can track it via TNT now.... lets see if it can get to the UK in a day now :D i gotta go on holiday with it on wednesday.... come on TNT... you can do it :)

My tracking number says the same exact thing also. My estimated delivery date is Aug. 4.

I don't have an estimated shipping date. My status is at "Shipment exception".
 
Well, this is ridiculous. My stock ibook was shipped on the 27th and the tracking still says it's in China. I called fedex and they told me my package was in Kazakhstan for some reason. Anybody else in my boat?

I don't recall seeing any extra shipping methods available, just the standard free shipping. Did I miss it (this is the UK store btw)?

cool! hope you enjoy it :) i went to a computer shop today and i saw the powerbook 15"... i still think that i may have been better getting that... oh well. the iBook will do more thatn enough for me !
 
Where the F*** is it?

I called Fed Ex yesterday and they said even though the internet didnt say so...my package had left as of 2:11 am and that it would be at my front door, in my hands, on tuesday morning by 10:30am. Then I get online to track my package today and it still didnt update. My package shipped on the 27th and it still says its in China!!! So I call today and they dont know exactly where it is and they tell me it will be at my house by 10:30 am on wednesday....do these FedEx people not communicate with each other or what!! One person tells me tuesday, then one tells me wednesday, and then one doesnt know where the hell it is. I paid for 2-3 day shipping and even though i got a refund it wasnt about the money in the first place, i paid the extra amount bc i wanted it faster. And it does make me feel a little better that i got a refund but I still think it is ridiculous how it still is not here and isnt expected here till wednesday (or tuesday; depends on which Fed Ex person u talk to)
 
I got the free shipping, and as of 10AM this morning my package said it was in Indianapolis. The estimated delivery for me is wednesday at 10:30AM, but I wouldn't be surprised if it showed up tomorrow morning considering Indianapolis is only a few states away from me.

Your comments are not needed or appreciated. You think you know it all but you don't.

Pay by wire is what stupid people do. Know why? Because I pay by credit card I get an extra 2 year warranty without paying for it.

And to answer your other smart comment. I can't have it delivered to work because they won't accept personal packages.

So some of us are anxious to know when our iBooks will arrive so that we can be home to sign for them.
 
Has anyone else gotten this message on the shipping status? Mine just updated recently to this.

Mine's a few minutes behind yours now, but I was just going to post the same thing. I'm showing a Thursday delivery now. This is an improvement.
 
I'd give it a bit (like an hour or two). I think originally we were all on a big pallet together and now they're pulling packages off the pallet and shipping them on their seperate ways. I suspect if you had the same shipping info as us previously, chances are you are probably in Alaska now.

Check logitech bluetooth mice... little pricey but get the refurbs you looking at between 50-70 bucks.
 
Ditto for me on iBook leaving Alaska at 4:21 pm and est. delivery on Thursday. Did anyone who upgraded to 2-day shipping whose iBook came from China get it any faster?
 
I've been lurking here for a while... ordered an ibook back on 7/16, with the edu discount and the free ipod it seemed like a good deal even before the upgrade, and damn i was happy when i got the "replaced with new product" thing on my order status page... Not only had i been kicking myself for not getting bluetooth on the original order, but PC2700 512mb sodimms are half the price of the pc2100 ones the old ones used.

Anyway, mine's in anchorage too.

I ordered standard 3-5 day shipping so I can't comment on that.

What I am curious on is whether this is a FedEX or FedEX Ground shipment. It seems like this is FedEX meaning I expect to see it in 2 days.

Mine is in Indianapolis. Left Indianapolis at 10:30 AM EST Monday, sooooo I'm hoping that it is on the east coast now, and will be delivered tomorrow.

But Fedex is estimating that it will be here on Wednesday.

And I did choose expedited shipping.
 
I am nearly resorting to zen for ideas about patience. That said, my iBook just officially crossed the pond (the other one), and has actually departed the fedex location in AK. If my iPod was any indication, the 'book should be here by Wednesday; a whole day early!
