Code:

31 Jul 2005 03:18 Suzhou Shipped From Originating Depot
30 Jul 2005 10:01 Suzhou Consignment Received At Transit Point

Damn. This is my order's tracking information on TNT.

I'd like to think that our goods are in the same transport, with one minute difference in the shipping time from Suzhou. But why hasn't mine arrived at Arnhem Hub, NL? I'd just be happy if I knew my iBook was out of China, with all the hassle everyone else is talking about.

doh, I didn;t know about this. How do you get it?

It depends on your credit card. My credit card I use with all big purchases is from my bank which is the Bank of Montreal. What they do is they double the manufacturers warranty, I get 60 day price protection so if the price goes down in a whole two months I get creditied the difference and if almost ANYTHING happens to it in like 90 days or something (stolen, run over) after I brought it it gets replaced. However I have never, ever paid interest on my credit card. So basiclly I'm getting al these services for free.

Expect the ibook to be here earlier?

Like many others, My ibook arrived in Alaska and was scheduled to be delivered on the 4th. However my recent tracking onfo says this: "Aug 1, 2005 10:24 PM Arrived at FedEx location

LOS ANGELES, CA "

LA! This means I might get my ibook on tuesday!! Juiced!! (I live about 5 hours away from LA)

does anyone know what this means?

Aug 2, 2005 1:03 AM

Int'l shipment release

MEMPHIS, TN

I'm getting exactly the same thing :( It must have left China by now . . . (I hope)

To gloat a bit my 1-gig ram stick is coming from crucial 2 days ahead of schedule.
Why? I live in Boise, Idaho-about 2 miles from crucial.com world headquarters. My departure scan, and destination arrival scan from UPS were about 30 minutes apart. Now if I could only close on that summer home in Shanghai...

Mine's there too. Hopefully no foolishness with customs is needed, otherwise mine should be here at least a day ahead of schedule.

Does seem a little odd that us Europeans are commonly getting:

03:18 Suzhou Shipped From Originating Depot

And yet some have arrived in NL and some haven't

Perhaps TNT are just a little slow with the tracking updates.

Argh, fer t' love o' God, what's up with my iBook?

It must have been a monster shipment, mine is probably at the bottom of the pile. :(

What does your K+N shipping say (via apecode)?

01 aug 05 30 10 departed direct CNSHA50 02 aug 05
01 aug 05 86 14 booking slot obtained KN Luxemburg
31 jul 05 40 69 accept scanned at EDC NLAMS07 04 aug 05

Things are happening ...

01 aug 05 90 75 truck arrived at final destination CNSHA50 02 aug 05
01 aug 05 30 10 departed direct NLAMS07 02 aug 05
01 aug 05 86 14 booking slot obtained KN Luxemburg

I take it that it means it has got to the TNT depot now.

It is called US Customs. FedEx can't guarantee when that will be completed. Anywhere within the US they can guarantee overnight delivery because customs isn't involved.

My iBook is still in China. :( But Sounds like you guys order on Tues. I ordered on Weds. So Maybe I will get mine on Friday but there is no way that is 2-3 shipping when it shipped last Friday.

Mine has made it all the way from Anchorage to Indianapolis to Kansas City in about 12 hours. I wonder if it will get delivered today. It still shows delivery for Thursday.
