New iBook Ship date

Same order here o/! Still in Processing Order, too. Hopefully I can get my hands on my brand new ibook next week :p. But I am afraid it will be delayed to week after that..

How long have they manufactured your machines guys? It says 3-5 days but can they be faster? And the shipping is 3-7 days :eek:. Are they any faster :D?
 
I just got shipping confirmation on my ibook 12" with 60gb BTO from apple. So it's on its way to me now.

can't wait, my ipod's are lonely :)

Good to see that some of the BTO iBooks are starting to ship. My 14" is still preparing for shipment. Maybe later today it will ship. Thanks for your update.

I hope the delay isn't much longer, i was hoping to see my iBook by monday, but i guess not now. this **** sucks.
 
Sofar my standard 12" is still stuck in China (Suzhou, near Shanghai). The tracking status hasn't changed for over a day now.

Did anyone who ordered online/phone already saw his iBook on the tracking page leaving China? Or are they piling them up there to ship them out all in one go somewhere next week?

There is a delay on the bulk shipment of them. They won't start delivering until next week.
 
My Ibook 80 gig 12" has shipped!!! juiced! How long will it take to get to me?? IT only took the apple wirelesskeyboard to ship to me in ONE day!!! (I ordered standard shipping too!)

This time next week is my guess.
 
People have waited 3+ months since they were expecting the iBook to be released in April/May. What is a few more days?
 
My BTO 14" iBook has now shipped. Don't know where it's shipping from or when it will get here. The tracking number isn't working yet.

Same here, 12" ibook with 80g BTO has shipped. Although fedex tracking shows that it has just been submitted to them, I don't think they've picked it up. Should be here midweek (expedited shipping)

Whaaa? Have you got some inside contacts or something who've expedited it ;) using the Ape Apple tracker thing mine (UK as well) is sitting at "Flight Booked" with ETA of 4th August. My ibook will be sitting in a warehouse, cold and lonely...eagerly waiting its turn to be flown westward.
 
I have a BTO 12" with 80 gigs that has been shipped out. Unfortunately the tracking number isn't working yet and i have no idea when to expect it. It's not looking good though because i will be out of town next Monday afternoon until Thursday night so i will have to wait until i get back to play with my new computer. Doh!

iBook ship date

On Tuesday I ordered a 12" iBook BTO with a 60 gig hard drive. Today at about 8 AM EDT it changed from "sent to manufacturing" to "shipped". According to Fed Ex's website, all they have is the shipping information. I'm assuming it's sitting in China somwhere.
 
i hope i get it before i go on holiday on wednesday :'( i will be annoyed if it isnt.... i NEED it for then lol
 
should be getting the hp multifunction 1610 printer today (and i ordered yesterday with ground!!!!!) :D


ipod 30 gig color and apple customer service certificate should come monday, ibook probably next friday.
 
Seems like troubles in china weren't that serious. All of a sudden it showed up here in The NL. So maybe i'll get i Monday. But then again TNT only delivers during working hours and at those hours.... I'm working.

Could it run WoW on high settings? It doesn't have to be maximum graphics.... but that'd be nice :D
