New iBook Ship date

what's wrong with fedex? i thought fedex was good (is it owned by the government?)


also, i've been looking at bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and to date the bluetooth mice for os x suck in general (even the windows xp bluetooth mice) i'm gonna have to wait a year or so for the technology to get better.

fedex is good...we're just impatient. no, it's not owned by the government. to show you how good fedex is, I received an order a day AHEAD of schedule last week.
 
now i'm nervous...

ordered my new 12.1 ibook (60gig) and it's now "shipped" from apple, but on fedex says "package data transmitted to fedex"

anyway, that's not the problem.. got my printer today and it wouldn't turn on.. i know they're completely unrelated, just nervous something will be wrong with my new ibook

and i was a nervous wreck today waiting for the printer (now completely disappointed, i can't imagine what it's going to be like on new computer day)
 
chill out dude. drink hot chocolate and take a hot shower then watch aqua teen hunger force, that will make you unnervous.

I ordered the same iBook as you, and it's in the exact same condition: shipped according to Apple, "package data . . . " according to FedEx.
 
I bought a stock 12" iBook last night, and an ipod mini.

The estimated delivery date is August 1. That's pretty quick!

OMG
You want a $1000 laptop that can run WoW on max settings? You can't get that anywhere even with Dull, Sony, Compaq, etc.

The old iBooks could run WoW so I expect the new ones to be a little better.
 
iBooks can run WoW? settings must be turned way down then. i dont play computer games anymore (just read about them), so it doesnt really matter to me.

Estimated ship date is Aug 3rd for me... It looks like it didn't make the plane today :(.. it says it missed teh FEDEX cut off date.. which is wierd cause it was suppose to be at their sorting facility...

Estimated ship date as in fedex tracking or on your apple order status?

My Mac Mini was supposed to ship from China as well and I got the same message that is missed the Fed Ex cut off. What exactly does that mean? I ordered it 2nd Day shipping, if it didn't ship today from China, there is no way I'm getting it in two days. :(

Can you show me a link to your tracking? I wanna compare it to mine.

I'm not sure where you are... but i'm in california... i assume if it catches the plane on Saturday morning (which is NOW PST)... then it can arrive at the CA sorting center by Sunday.... sort and ship.. I might even get it on the 2nd... that is IF it ships out of Shanghai today... i'll be doing alot of refreshing off of the FEDEX site.. ;)

Edit: I read that FEDEX might use a processing sight in Alaska... which means it might take longer to get here... they also might not have updated the FEDEX site... the next line could just read 'arrived at sorting center' or something....

WTF is a regulatory agency clearance delay and how can I get my money back for 2nd day shipping? :mad:

WTF this is ********, mines still in China as of July 29th, 10:58 PM Shanghai time, and package data was transmitted on the 28th. Yet yours was all done today.
