If you are near an Apple Store, try swapping the keyboard. My experience was very positive. 10 minutes (5 of which was just waiting for the manager to be available to authorize the exchange) and I walked out with the wired keyboard. Their POS (does that really stand for Point Of Sale or the other?) said I owed them $0.01... But they fixed that too.

Thanks for that and LOL POS; I did use the Magic keyboard for a few hours though...in hopes of getting used to it.

I'll try to cancel the wired keyboard at Amazon and see what the 5th Avenue store says (they've been awesome with me lately.)

My Fedex delivery (Last Tuesday 10/21) went very smooth.........

I Left a signature release form with instructions to put the package in the back yard under the deck.......then close and lock the gate.
They did exactly as directed.........as I watched from work with my security cameras. :)

Of course, 2-weeks prior Fedex "lost" (stole) my previous early 2015 5K machine on the way back to Apple returns.
Luckily Apple stepped up and refunded me in full and worked with FedEx to get reimbursed.

Much prefer UPS.....never had an issue with them.

I took an hour off of work (again) so I can go pick it up. Interesting how it got back to the hub so fast. Usually pick up is after the driver gets done with his route. They said he was due back at 3 PM. It was supposed be delivered by 1030. The lady said she's been looking at it since 11. WTF?

Ordered 27 i7 8GB 512GB 395 on 10/16 for ship to store, just got the email that it's ready for pickup (10/27).

Now I have to stay focused at work for 2 hours.

Ordered Ship-to-Store: 10/16
Original estimate: 10/28
Adjusted to: 10/29
Actual: 10/27

There is no focus. Only that big, girthy, beautiful iMac that's waiting on you to pick her up.

PS: She's a lot lighter than I thought she'd be. The box looks very intimidating.

Update: I ordered a few hours after the announcement. Was told 5-7 business days till it ships. On the 8th business day was told 1-2 days till it ships. Today was the end of that second business day and I am still stuck in processing. Was told the first time delivery between 23-27. Now it is 27-30. Who knows...

Ordered my top of the line iMac today too. Looking forward to getting it, but I am switching from pc to Mac. Not really looking forward to setting it up and purchasing Mac versions of a lot of my programs.

Ordered my 2015 i7/3TB/8GB/395x on I believe late Wednesday night. They tried delivery on Saturday, but we were out. Tried again yesterday, and I somehow did;t hear the fedEx guy. Today they dropped it off. Though my instructions said back yard, they left it on the porch. Anyhow, as I was just on a conference call, I had it within the hour.

Screaming fast and great upgrade! Only issue is that it doesn't seem to want to upgrade/migrate from my Time Capsule. Grrrr.... old iMac backing up to a USB now, and I'll wipe and reinstall the new one tonight. Hopefully, when I start work in the AM, I'll be working on my old machine again, just much faster and with an amazing display.

Just checking in to see what is going on with these delivery estimates. I ordered last Monday and my order says 5-7 business days. Well that would make today, day 7 and still stuck at Processing. My delivery estimate is Oct 29-Nov 2. Are a lot of people not seeing there iMacs ship when they were supposed to??

I ordered 5K i7 512SSD 395x 8GB and Magic Trackpad 2.

On a positive note, the Apple TV I ordered yesterday is Preparing for shipment already and it was 3-5 days and delivering on Nov 4-6. I guess it will likely beat the iMac to my house as for some reason it says Expedited shipping even though that wasn't an option at checkout and I never paid for it......

Here is my second iMac shipping experience:

Monday morning : placed order
Tuesday evening: Processing --> Shipped
Wednesday evening: Schedule for deliver as I checked standard overnight delivery.

Hey Apple! too fast! :)

I had a family member order through Apple's friends and family program for me on October 16th and it is currently in Memphis. It should arrive on Thursday just as was originally estimated. Pretty excited.

Ordered a 27" i7 / 1TB SSD / M395X late evening on October 25th, dispatched this evening (October 28th), due for delivery by November 3rd. Fingers crossed for safe undamaged shipping!

What is up with Apple? I ordered almost the same (except 512GB not 1TB SSD) on the 19th and it is still Processing....FU Apple...you suck....

Likely different fulfillment queues for Canadian orders. Skimming this thread would seem to suggest, anecdotally, that orders move much quicker from receipt to shipping for US buyers than for those of us up north. Apple has *billed* me already, but status is still Processing.....
Whatever. It'll get here when it gets here.

I am in the same boat... I'm in Toronto, and I ordered on the 20th. It says it should ship by 29th, but it is still processing! I don't know what is going on...

Add me to the boat as well. I ordered on the 20th and it's still processing (Newfoundland, Canada).

Nice.....what, about 12 years old?
If they suck so bad maybe you better cancel your order.

Actually I'm only 7...does that make it even better??

But on a serious note, it does seem to be CDN orders that are all missing the dates...oh well...Apple should get there logistics together...

I'm ordering from the UK, everyone knows they love us more

Ordered 27"/i7/512/395 on 28th. Received despatch notice today (29th), delivery 3rd to 6th Nov. Sounds too good to be true. Note I am in UK, do not know where it is being shipped from.
