Hang in there antman! I didn't pay for expedited, so the soonest I'll see it is Thursday, a day early. Don't know if they deliver Saturdays....
 
Has anyone spoken a an Apple rep directly about where BTO orders are made/shipped from? I just chatted with a rep online today and was told "configured" orders were handled overseas. Of course, there appears to be conflicting reports on that statement...

Gahhh yeah thats why I paid for expedited. I dropped almost 3k on the thing I figured whats another 40 bucks to get it quicker.

My iMac will be shipped via air regardless because I'm Canadian ;)

But hey if it really helps the US customers then definitely worth the extra payment. I wasn't even given an option to expedite when I checked out.
 
Ordered a BTO fully loaded on 14th.
Nothing moved on the site.
Not a good feeling it is way beyond initial indicated shipping time.
 
Placed my BTO first thing on the 13th and just got my shipping confirmation. It's coming over night via FedEx and is shipping from San Jose. Tomorrow can not get here quick enough!
 
ordered 4hours after new imacs were announced - got Oct 20 - 22nd for maxed out 5k imac :D
still processing
 
So I have a UPS account and they tell me when a package is address to me and to be delivered to my house. Even if I didn't order anything. Has ruined a couple surprises, lol. Does FedEx have anything similar? Might shed a light on delivery dates.

I was searching around for this a while ago and was never able to find anything like it through fedex.
 
Just got an Email, my order has been shipped.

By the by, Do I need that pre-sign? It will be delivered to campus.

Also I got a message says:"
Apple Store: Good news! Items in order xxxxxxxxxx have shipped and will deliver by Oct 26, 2015.
"

Just updated tracking on the site, shipping from Fremont,CA and estimated delivery date is Saturday, 10/24, I had an initial delivery window of 10/22 - 10/24 fron Apple so a little bumned, but at least I can ensure I'm home Saturday and who knows it may ship quicker!
