New images of the rumored AirPods Pro appeared on SlashLeaks this evening. The new images don't reveal anything new, but do show what appears to be an assembled AirPods Pro charging case in higher quality images than have previously leaked.

Previously leaked images were of lower quality showing the plastic enclosures of the upcoming AirPods. The original leaks were initially dismissed until icons matching the design were found a recent iOS 13.2 Beta release.

Multiple reports have suggested that the new higher end AirPods could be launching imminently. These new AirPods are expected to have noise canceling technology as well as a higher price tag than the current AirPods. Some retailers have even started selling cases for the new design.

Update: The Weibo account these images originated from are reported to claim these are fake/knockoffs of the new AirPods, but regardless, the design is still believed to be representative.

New York.
A whole new designed product announced without a keynote? Unlikely.

I really don’t think we’re getting a Keynote for these products. Why? Idk. But it just seems to be too late.

A press release, product reveal videos / marketing and commercials / articles will honestly do the job.

What else will help? The fact that YouTube reviewers and influencers probably already have the new AirPods, 16” MBP and whatever else was released.

I agree it’s a better look at the case than the previous leaked image, but it seems pretty clear from the images that the case is not assembled.

It is too late since there is no special event for Oct. Which means no new products for this year.

Despite the fact that this is a fake leak, I am wondering if this is the final case design, how are they going to keep the wireless charging coil?

I don’t believe this. Photos are too high quality to be a leak.

Huawei P30 Pro is pretty popular in China.

Have you seen the inductive coil in the Apple Watch? It doesn't need to be big.

Is November not a month?

There arent any November for a long time. What makes you think they will announce it in Nov?

The events have historically been in October, but an early November event isn't entirely out of the question. The products should still be available in time for the holiday shopping season.

There arent any records for Nov having a keynote.

Curious to see how these turn out. My current v1.0 AirPods are not doing so well holding a charge. One of them refuses to exceed 95% and also discharges much quicker than the other. They've never been great for noisy outdoor environments anyway, so I’m hoping these new ones will be just what I need.

One of mine discharges much faster than the other too. Out of curiosity which one for you? My right one doesn’t last as long.

What’s so “Pro” about headphones? The word Pro has lost its shine

Pro-sumer? I think it may have even been Jobs who coined the phrase. Everyone is at it, from Playstation to Volvo. Personally I don't get hung up on it - to me it's just a higher tier of product. Also, I suppose we don't actually know for sure that Apple will call these Pro. It does seem likely, though.

Same. Right one refuses to charge past 95% and will run down to 40% in the time it takes for the left to reach 70%. It doesn't really bother me. I knew when I bought them that they would, to a certain extent, be a consumable tech item. I've had more than two years of everyday use out of them, so I can't really complain.

The launching is not imminent as you say. There's no October event. At best, expect them to be released in March.
