Big whoop. These slow incremental “improvements” are getting ridiculous.
Wow, I can do a hundred of photoshop compositions like that placing and sizing sensors whatever I like. Is so easy in photoshop.I have been saying this for years but some Apple fanboys claim it's impossible.

Sigh the designers can'r win , can they? If they have a bezel to hise the spekar/ cam people complain about the bezel because lost screen space, and if the introduse to aximise screen real esatete ( ie just remove enough screen to fit whatever needs to have no screen in front of it) gues what, yuck the notch is so ugly, wel we could always remove the se,fie cam, but FaceTime etc. We cant have eveyrhing and the notch is only a problem in landscape, people realy need to get a lifewhat about those bezels...in 12 design they look much bigger
Optical please. Ultrasonic gives issues with tempered glass screen protectors.Jeez, just get rid of Face ID, this pandemic exposed it for what it is, limited in use. Ultrasonic fingerprint, secure and convenient in any scenario. No risks involved with having to remove your mask, and potentially exposing yourself to this air borne virus that's out of control. This stubbornness of keeping FaceID, reminds me of Blackberry refusing to get rid of the physical keyboard. And the blind followers of Blackberry supporting that decision.
Cause is miles better in all aspects than SE? But hey, no notch, but huge bezels.I still love my iPhone SE. Second gen. I had the first one for 4 years until this came out. No notch, no rounded corners, great camera. Why buy an ugly thing?
I don't get the reference, but yes, large bezels, comfortable (fake) button. I still own my original SE, and use it as a second phone (no funny business).Cause is miles better in all aspects than SE? But hey, no notch, but huge bezels.
Expised it for what it is, you mean a tech to id a face rhat does bpnot work when about half the face is covered, yea bug deal, here is the thing : it was never designed to wirk in this case as it was nit a need at the time it was designet ( or not a significant one anyway), so as compitent engeneers the ones at apple decided to ignore that ( at the time p} edge case, and then civid-19 showed up, and with hindsight that choice ofc does not seem good, but what js the wurst result of face id not working, ,et me check ....... oh you need to type your passcode, well is that a big deal? Imho no, but use-cases may waryJeez, just get rid of Face ID, this pandemic exposed it for what it is, limited in use. Ultrasonic fingerprint, secure and convenient in any scenario. That one pictured is actually even more or at least same invasive that the rumored notch. I would prefer a small punch hole instead, without a doubt
Just because we don't mind it doesn't mean we wouldn't like it gone.Yeah, you don't mind the notch until it's gone. Then you're going to praise Apple getting rid of that abomination.
Beautiful. Where do I find one with iOS on it?
The idea is there, it just needs implementation.💡I have been saying this for years but some Apple fanboys claim it's impossible.

I see notch as necessary pain in the ass. Face ID is great, but status bar is ****, also any video is garbage.Just because we don't mind it doesn't mean we wouldn't like it gone.
You can have meshed viewpoints, you do realize that, right?
It's possible to have two nice information corners without an ugly black blob in the middle. I would also say that if you can't fit in the battery % then there needs to be more space in the corner.Agreed. It really is sort of nice because it splits the top status bar in two nice information corners that give you just enough information and looks very symmetric. If more information is needed, just pull down control center.
This is all such a bunch of crap. I was the first person in my office to have a Bellboy pager. It had two notification tones. I used one for the office and the other for my home. There was no display. You simply went by the tone to know who to call. Then, I got a digital pager. I could actually get a number displayed so I could call them back as soon as I could get to a pay phone. After that, I got an alphanumeric pager where people could actually send me a short text message. When I got my first "brick" phone, I was thrilled! It cost a fortune to make and receive calls, but I could actually talk to someone. Now, we have small cellphones that can do almost anything and all we're worried about is a notch? RIDICULOUS!!
