Nothing on the 7 is a head turner if this video is authentic. Possibility of wireless
pods or charging could add interest.
In any case don't expect to much and you won't be disappointed !

My problem with silicone or TPU cases is I hate the dust that enters near the end of the screen. Then you have a dirty case by the time it gets old. I also don't like a screen protector. I like the natural feeling of the touchscreen.

Like the quote in Don't Be A Menace To South Central...
"Never use condoms, son. They take away all the feelin'."

I like when I hold my phone, nothing protects it except my hand or a holster case to carry it around my waist. The iPhone 7 is a mediocre design. That's expected because the 6 series is pretty hideous with only the 3G series and 5c having the worse in iPhone build quality. But it is also surprisingly comfortable to hold longer unlike the boxy 5 series design that digs into your palm.

My ideal iPhone design goes like this -

Height of the Moto E2 or og Moto X (128-130mm)
"4.5-"4.7 with minimum 720p
Since no faux leather back, same 5 series rear design
Rounded edges like the 6 (slippery but comfortable)

Apple hasn't found the middle ground for me. Needs to be midpoint in height of the SE and 7. If Apple could make it a tad more taller and wider, a "4.5 is possible as seen with the Z1 Compact. Half an inch display can make all the difference for me. But alas, nothing is truly perfect.

The MacBookAir had solid state storage from day one, and three ports behind a flip-down door.

As far as the iPhone camera is concerned, personally if given the choice, I'd gladly have a better performing camera in a slightly thicker phone, with no camera protrusion

The original MacBook Air does have 80GB hard drive as default option. It uses the same hard drive you found on iPod Classic. Apple offered option with flash storage as upgrade.

And original MacBook Air has only 1 USB port hehind the flip door.

Check Wikipedia if you wish to.

You mean like the 2008 MacBook Air with one port, 2 GB of RAM, and an 80 GB spinning hard disk? Or the original iPhone that didn't hook up to 3G UMTS air interface standard, had no copy and paste, and launched without an app store?

All Apple products, even those far beyond the first generation, are developed with engineering trade-offs and compromises, and strive to hit the best overall user experience. As an example, I'll gladly take a better performing camera and thinner phone with the compromise of having a lens bump on the back.

I think it's obvious if your a photographer, which you are, you would want a "Better performing camera" over a camera bump which has zero affect for you to carry out your daily tasks. Aesthetic appeal versus practicality. 370 plus comments on this article on how the camera bump is doom and gloom for this iPhone. Distortion and reality for those join the band wagon.

This next iPhone, with its refactored antenna lines, has Antennagate 2.0 written all over it. You can just predict confidently little testing has occurred on this new one.

Good thing we have an electrical engineer specializing in RF radios/antennas to clear that up for us.

The ironic part? My younger daughters classmates dad actually IS an electrical engineer for Apple and he specializes in cellular antenna design. I'll go ask him if you like.

And those guys you speak of perfectly must've been engineering it (the iphone 4) right

He must be arguing it wrong. They are perfect, they never already had a antenna failure

I know most are displeased at this point with the 'Lack there of' and camera bump concerns with this rumored iPhone 7. And most know the significant changes will not be here until the iPhone 8 in 2017.

I still think we need to have some faith in Apple, all it could take is for them to implicate one or more surprise special features to ultimately change our minds with this Phone, restore the passion, in which will lead to Macrumors posting an article on it, which will have those praising why they love it or hate the iPhone 7. Apple is so good at bringing out the unexpected and how the audience is wowed In a positive way. Those who are true followers, know this about Apple.

The Home Button seams to kept the same, right?
I hope and wonder how could be the rumored digital Home button!!!
[doublepost=1468811655][/doublepost]The new bumpy camera may be as ugly as the apple battery case.
Hi Mommy hi Pettit potato!!!

Dude, lay off the K2. :apple:

I guess we shouldn't worry about Apple removing features, but still charging the same price.
They have their reasons and we should just trust them:
Prices will rise on this model.

If this design does turn out to be true then it'll be a bit underwhelming, unless there are some killer features we don't know about.

So far the breakdown is:
-Thinner!!!! (Because that's all that matters to apple)
-Same design (6/6s wasn't a bad design so it isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it isn't gonna have people rushing out to buy it either)
-Camera bump got even worse (Didn't think that was possible)
-No Audio Jack (Why??!? This seems like a negative at least in the short term, may make this model a flop among audiophiles)
-Maybe slightly longer battery life? (This is a plus if true)
-Maybe Waterproof? (This would be a plus as well, though in all the years I've had a phone, I never had the urge to swim with it)

So in the end, looks like the ads will just go for thinner/lighter/waterproof. Introducing the iPhonne 6ss, because two s models are better than one. Hope it's enough to bump those sales.

Feels like a dummy phone. He makes sure never to touch the screen (it's magically already on when he turns it around) and the flash recess is weird. Also the little details like the SIM slot don't look as precisely cut as the 6S

No, the 2008 MacBook Air came stock with a 1.8" 80 GB hard disk, and with a single USB port. There was also a micro DVI port. The 2008 MacBook Air was also very slow, a compromise I forgot to mention in my previous post.

Since I will always use a case, a thicker iPhone will result in a thicker overall phone (with case) than the iPhone 6+ with case that I use now. No thanks. For me my iPhone 6+ is near perfect, giving me 2 days of battery and a terrific camera. Being a photographer, that's important.

Great. Looking forward to grabbing this new iPhone. SO over the unwieldy size/weight of my 6s Plus and can't wait to go back to the 4.7" size. I'm still not getting what all the fuss is about over losing the headphone jack. Lightning headphones will do me just fine. Happy to have an adapter for when I need to plug into my Mac which is hardly ever. Ultimately, I'd rather stereo speakers, more water resistance and more internal space for important internals like battery. I am also looking forward to seeing what the possibilities are for lightning connected earphones.

Exactly. My iPhone 6S Plus feels like a brick next to my sisters regular iPhone 6. The extra screen real estate is nice but doesn't compare to a smaller lighter slab of aluminium.

That iPhone looks like a cyclope with that horrible and ugly camera.
One day we'll stop waiting for the next iPhone.

Am I the only one who just isn't excited about the new iPhone rumors for this year?
Many arent excited and many will buy it anyways especially if the features are worth it. Let's see how the market will respond to it.

When buying any new smartphone, you either have to deal with the minor imperfections or you don't. If too nitpicky, then you will never have a new phone and be stuck with an older one you will eventually start to complain about for getting slower or whatever imperfection starts to pop up.

The iPhone 7 will be a big hit no matter it looks like. Even if it sells less than the 6s, a down year for Apple is still a record season for most companies. Gee, we only sold 40M iPhone 7's during the last quarter! Waah! Apple execs will still wiping their butt and tears in their eyes with crisp hundred dollar bills. Only 40M sold? Samsung and Huawei execs would be blowing their load with envy if they saw sales numbers like that for one of their flagships.

Waterproof phones will finally be more mainstream for Americans. Only Sony and Samsung made them for their flagships. Kyocera sales the Hydro Air for $40 at Walmart but that Japanese brand doesn't have a good reputation. HTC and Motorola only has had splash resistant nano coating. Apple will soon follow Sony and Samsung into the ocean. Then all the Chinese copycats, LG, and many others will soon make waterproofing a standard feature.

Camera bump is ok by me. Stops the phone hydroplaning off wet tables.
That happens often?

Based on my (unscientific) poll, people don't care much for the iPhone 6/6s form factor. They're waiting patiently for an all new 4 inch sized form factor or possibly even a 3.5 inch sized form factor. Users have loved those designs the most.

Don't forget the awesome separation of channels... Even sticking your nose right on the screen won't solve that.

Dual speakers won't make any sense. I would rather have one with higher audio quality than two inferior ones.
Two speakers can be better than one of the separate the frequencies. One for highs and one for lows.

Interesting results indeed. via iPhone design. What's your favourite? Vote http://bit.ly/1RFTM0z

How can you predict little testing has occurred on the alleged iPhone 7? Did you read this? I'm curious to see your source for this? Seems extreme to say Apple does not test their products.

That camera bump looks like it was made by a "cheap" stamped metal process and please don't tell me we lost the 3.5mm headphone jack so that Apple could add a second speaker. If the latter is all they've done to account for the loss of the headphone jack then Apple really, really needs to start thinking different.

I'm looking forward to being wrong, but the antenna setup seems like a big change. I just wonder if the correct oversight has been used and enough testing.

So many people here loosing their **** over looks SMH. As long as the changes mean much improved internals. Who cares what the outside looks like!
