The MacBookAir had solid state storage from day one, and three ports behind a flip-down door.
As far as the iPhone camera is concerned, personally if given the choice, I'd gladly have a better performing camera in a slightly thicker phone, with no camera protrusion
Can't tell if your serious, but pretty sure that's not going to be the case. I like the 6s design and thinking Apple has some surprises in store. This next iPhone, with its refactored antenna lines, has Antennagate 2.0 written all over it. You can just predict confidently little testing has occurred on this new one.
You mean like the 2008 MacBook Air with one port, 2 GB of RAM, and an 80 GB spinning hard disk? Or the original iPhone that didn't hook up to 3G UMTS air interface standard, had no copy and paste, and launched without an app store?
All Apple products, even those far beyond the first generation, are developed with engineering trade-offs and compromises, and strive to hit the best overall user experience. As an example, I'll gladly take a better performing camera and thinner phone with the compromise of having a lens bump on the back.

Good thing we have an electrical engineer specializing in RF radios/antennas to clear that up for us.
The ironic part? My younger daughters classmates dad actually IS an electrical engineer for Apple and he specializes in cellular antenna design. I'll go ask him if you like.

I guess we shouldn't worry about Apple removing features, but still charging the same price.
They have their reasons and we should just trust them:Prices will rise on this model.

Great. Looking forward to grabbing this new iPhone. SO over the unwieldy size/weight of my 6s Plus and can't wait to go back to the 4.7" size. I'm still not getting what all the fuss is about over losing the headphone jack. Lightning headphones will do me just fine. Happy to have an adapter for when I need to plug into my Mac which is hardly ever. Ultimately, I'd rather stereo speakers, more water resistance and more internal space for important internals like battery. I am also looking forward to seeing what the possibilities are for lightning connected earphones.
Many arent excited and many will buy it anyways especially if the features are worth it. Let's see how the market will respond to it.Am I the only one who just isn't excited about the new iPhone rumors for this year?
That happens often?Camera bump is ok by me. Stops the phone hydroplaning off wet tables.
Based on my (unscientific) poll, people don't care much for the iPhone 6/6s form factor. They're waiting patiently for an all new 4 inch sized form factor or possibly even a 3.5 inch sized form factor. Users have loved those designs the most. That iPhone looks like a cyclope with that horrible and ugly camera.
One day we'll stop waiting for the next iPhone.

Two speakers can be better than one of the separate the frequencies. One for highs and one for lows.Don't forget the awesome separation of channels... Even sticking your nose right on the screen won't solve that.
Dual speakers won't make any sense. I would rather have one with higher audio quality than two inferior ones.

Better camera. Bring its on! Most folks rock a case, so to a large extent the body design is somewhat secondary...
I'm looking forward to being wrong, but the antenna setup seems like a big change. I just wonder if the correct oversight has been used and enough testing. How can you predict little testing has occurred on the alleged iPhone 7? Did you read this? I'm curious to see your source for this? Seems extreme to say Apple does not test their products.
