In Australia the iTunes Music Store also says "Not available in your country yet!" Clciking the button takes you to the 4 flags also. Clicking any of the 4 flags loops back to the previous "Not avail.." message.

Can anybody say aacPlus (HE-AAC)? 🙂

U2 Launch Today Also.

New QT and New iTunes versions etc all probably going to happen in about 25 hours time too. Of course it's only rumor 😉

Same here in Spain. I get that message too, and can't connect to the store. Last time I tried a couple of weeks ago it displayed the warning but it let me in at least to preview songs.

An interesting thing, by browsing the iTMS via the above "eye tip", i could find some Spanish artists into the store...

Fingers crossed! 🙄

Woohoo! I was so afraid that Norway would be left out, but I also get kicked around in circles (that sounds a bit strange 😉 ), so maybe there is hope after all!

So, I'm thinking that this might be a global launch of iTunes with all offerings being available worldwide instead of a separate store for each country. Man, that would be awesome, there's so much euro music that I would buy in a flash if it was available here in the US. Also, could this be the reason why some of the European independent labels hadn't yet showed up in iTMS?

Nice... Just what we need to turn this sucker exponential! 😉 😀

FIIIIIINNLAAAND!! OH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Joulupukki (the original Santa Claus hehe) wants iTMS here so that he can listen to good music on his ipod when travelling to deliver xmas presents to kids 🙂

Isn't it just as likely that Apple is either

1. not allowing non-store countries to even PREVIEW anymore, or

2. undergoing an iTunes system upgrade for a select few EU countries, and this upgrade is causing the circle-loops for everyone else

Did I miss why we are assuming that the circle-loop means a store is imminent in that particular country?

Uhm .. I think it was because some czech dude could still browse?

Why?

Why? Because I doubt the iTMS CZ would open before iTMS Sweden. The Czech poster (Ahoj! Jsem hloupy american ;-) ) said that he/she could browse without being redirected by hitting a flag.

Same thing here in Belgium: "iTMS is not available in your country yet. You will be able to browse music and listen to previews, but you won't be able to purchase music. To browse the Music Store in countries where it is currently available, please click Browse" --> click OK > flags > click flag > same message

Does this mean we're in to ?
🙂

Well I say about time and welcome new users if this is true! IMO, iTMS UK was worth the wait when it finally arrived in June this year. I wonder if they'll update all the stores by adding this new AACplus stuff as an option when buying tracks if that page2 rumour turns out to be true..

Seems like there's a few french canadian artists in there...very few but still. The question is, is this new ? I'm guessing yes since I can't see why they would have added that stuff to the US store.

If so, this is great news. Tomorrow may be a great day. Let me be the first to say heh, it was aboot time 😉

I agree. I don't expect iTMS to be in Canada tomorrow. Apple may be working hard, but launching in that many countries is insane!

Does anybody know if other music stores follow a similar set up where there are "different" browsable stores for each country/region like in iTunes? I haven't seen this in the Windows-only stores I've tested.

I get the "The iTunes Music Store is not available in your country yet." message... When I click on OK, I come to the flag page, and when I click on any flag (tried all four) I'm returned back to the "The iTunes Music Store is not available in your country yet." message.

Same here, in Argentina.

But if I click on the "Browse" button, after selecting any flag, I can browse the iTMS from the country I selected.

I would like to see some more people not get the circle thing before I really get my hopes up. Where's that Turkish guy who wanted to buy an iMac from the U.S. I doubt Turkey will get the store now, so if he gets the same as the Czech person, then the rest of us are all go 🙂 maybe

Canadian artist / New category / iTMS error

Look at what happen when I try to click on the French Pop category. An error occurs. This is a canadian artist, so there is hope for iTMS Canada tomorrow.

iTMS Australia

I have also noticed that we don't have any access to iTMS anymore here in Australia.

I think we have a right to whine a little - Apple Au has only recently started advertising, and their customer service is not good, and support for things like iPhoto and other international services (Sherlock portals), iTMS, non existent

Thanks -

Errr.. Am I missing something? This is how iTunes has always behaved in Canada. This is nothing new - that error message has always been there (like for months).

Hey, gfer, do you know if it is likely that Argentina would get the store? It sounds unlikely to me, in which case that means that the circle thing is no indicator at all. My hopes are vaining for a Norwegian store 🙁

Yes, it has always been there, but after clicking on OK, it took you to the US store where you could listen to the samples. Not anymore. Now it simply loops between the message and the 4 flags. No way to browse the iTMS.

I doubt there will be such a large release of stores tomorrow.

Some, yes, but as many as rumored; no.
