Ordered last night around 5:00 and it arrived today, stock unit, this morning around 9:00. Loving it so far, the thing is so light but the resolution takes some getting used to - it's SOOO much faster than the old non-SSD Macbook Air (rev 1) - will be keeping this as my main "around the house/travel" laptop - selling the 15" beast.
Happy with my purchase so far and no real need for the 4GB ram as it can't handle much else other than internet, email, word processing, and some light photoshop. Will probably get a small travel external drive for storage but that's a cost of going ultraportable. This was always the computer I wanted from Apple but they never made, well done Steve!

one thing i have noticed is this seems much bigger then i thought this is not a netbook at all I am very surprised by how it feels.

the fan is running i can only hear it if i place the back on my ear. its been over 30 minutes and no heat or noise.

There was a lot of speculation that it wouldn't be that nice to use and would need upgrading, but everyone who has used one even in the base spec is reporting positive things about it!
i have a feeling that a lot of people who are buying the new 11 and 13" have not used an ssd before
The pages load so quick and I cant find anything wrong at all.

I know that I have not used an SSD before I have a 3 year old MB. But need something that does almost the same but also portable. I am very gald about the reviews of the 11.6 so far. Honestly I have no idea what an SSD is.

Thank you lol!! I hate asking dumb questions but hey I am a female I do that very often!! I wish I did know more about electronics I would rather go to BestBuy then go clothes shopping any day!!
looks very good. i mentioned this in another thread, but i think apple could have easily advertised the 11" to have 7 hours of battery life under the old testing procedure.

So, when I look straight at it, I cannot see myself at all. Normally, even without a light behind me, I see a reflection with the newer MB's and MBP.
This screen is awesome, if they made a new MBP like this, I would buy it tomorrow.
