New Macbook Case Thread

I wish these cases has some kind of felt or that soft cloth inside rather than the hard plastic trapping dirt and grime and scratching up the macbook.

I usually go with radtech for very thin felt-like sleeves that fit the laptop snugly and use their keyboard protectors as well. This is mostly just to prevent scratches, not to prevent any shock-type damage--that's what the Muzetto is for.

I really like that bag. I am considering getting the vertigo 2.0 I am not sure of the size but the small one might work.
 
I just ordered the Snugg sleeve on Amazon, it went to In Stock tonight. Delivery by APril 16th. With any luck, I'll get it on the same day as the Macbook !

Ha! At least now we'll all have our cases, adapters, and everything else before the MacBook comes. We'll be all ready!

I'm still looking at getting the Tom Bihn case. I like the look of that one the best out of all the ones posted in this thread so far.

Ah but I ordered the 1.2/512 and it should arrive sometime next week. Actually the delivery estimates are April 16-20 for both the MB and the case, which is probably deliberate on Snugg's part.

But I should receive my USB-C to USB-A thingy today. I'll use it as a cat toy until next week :rolleyes:

They seem to be, if you read the 11" model's reviews. They do look nice enough, and most importantly, actually very slim. And cheap enough :)

That looks really nice. I like the way felt looks, but I'm not the biggest fan of how it feels, and..... it's a cat hair magnet :p

When I placed the order (last night) it said estimated delivery April 16-20 - just like my MB :p

Now it says :

Preparing for Shipment - Shipping estimate: Monday, April 13, 2015 - Tuesday, April 14, 2015

So Prime would only have been a day or two earlier, but then I don't need it before I actually get the computer, so... But in your case, if you're getting the MB at the end of the month, it makes sense to wait and get the color you want !

Thanks for the suggestion, those do look good, but if someone says one case fits a rMB *and* an 11" Air, I take that as meaning it doesn't really fit either of them if you know what I'm saying.

Absolutely, especially when they say even the ones with the "old label" fits both. They only changed the description.
 
I need a clam shell type covering with cloth on the inside like the iPad has from Apple so I dont scratch up the machine.

I have one of these from SFBags, though with brown leather on the bottom. The only question is how long it will have to wait for the hardware. ;)
