So.. from this stage when can I expect a tracking number? Any ideas?
From reading this thread you won't get a tracking number until your items have merged in transit, which seems to be the day it reaches your destination country,which also seems to be the day you get your items delivered, which is also very very very annoying.
Did anyone who ordered multiple items + the new MB/MBP actually get their stuff yet? And if so how many days did it take from placing the order to the delivery?
(I placed my order for a MB and some other stuff early on the 20th and the MB shipped from Shanghai the 26th - Apple estimates delivery on the November 5th... and of course no tracking number here either
)My MBP has shipped as well. But no tracking as I have ordered a mighty mouse and neoprene sleeve as well.
Did anyone have their MBP dispatched last night, and have tracking info for it? If so, would they mind keeping us up to date? I'm thinking that seeing as Apple seem to send them out in batches, the tracking info for anyone's info in the batch will basically apply to all of the laptops in that batch, thus meaning those of us without tracking info can still have some idea of where our computers are.

how strange, did you have something unusual in your order? i ordered after you but mine is now shipped!
Sadly it is in the ether and untrackable until it is probably in the UK
Nothing extra. Just the baseline mbp. Simple order I would've thought too. Getting a bit browned off knowing others who ordered after me have shipped. The fact that I'm in Ireland could be the cause

Got my MBP delivered this morning. If people are interested in time frame... Placed order on the 15th, shipped on the 21st and arrived today, the 28th.
To help with the anticipation as im sure many of you are feeling, my delivery date got bupped up to today from the 30th just last night, so you never know when it might come.
And to assuage worries about the reports in poor build quality, mine is absolutly perfect, im very impressed.

just the mini display to DVI adapter and Apple care.
And it was delivered to canterbury, kent, by TNT. the only bit of tracking i got was when it arrived in the maidstone depo yesterday evening

In case anyone is interested my bog standard MBP 2.4ghz ordered at around 10.30pm on 21 October shipped today (28 October), got my shipping email at around 7pm.
My 7 Nov - 10 Nov delivery estimate has been revised to 6 November.
I ordered a nano as well so as I understand it I won't get any more tracking data until it arrives at my local depot, but I'll post any other info I get in case this is helpful to anyone in a similar situation.
Likewise I'd be really grateful if anyone who's shipped today who has tracking data was willing to post it, its interesting to track these things on their meanders

i ordered my 2.53 7200 with time capsule from the education store a few hours after it opened on the 14th. i was given dates of 3/4 november for delivery. then about a week in the shipping page began saying 31st oct. untill now i have had no tracking info at all. just now i havebeen given a tracking number and a new estimated delivery of 29/10. thought the TNT tracking page shows very little info.
looks like apple guess's a little on the safe side when giving delivery dates

Nice to know. My CTO 2.8GHz 320GB 7200RPM + Nano ordered at 3:12pm on the 21st have not yet changed status, but hopefully they are only being briefly delayed thanks to the CTO stuff, and will follow yours soon.
latitudehopper, looking back at your previous posts it appears you ordered a MacBook, whereas I think most people in this topic ordered MacBook Pros. I guess this would account for your order being shipped sooner, the more consumer orientated MacBook is historically the most popular model, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Apple is pumping them out faster than the Pros.
