You sure? Looks to me like all 15"ers still say shipping in 24 hrs, and the 13"ers are 2-4 and 1-3 days each.
Yeah positive, I can screenshot it if you like.

We'll have to wait and see. If the MacBook is updated it needn't be at the same time as the MBPs.Does this mean the regular (white) macbook will be discontinued?
im hoping announced Tuesday and then comes out Thursday
Must be getting anxious...As a lot more are... Like me...

ah ok, you seem to be like me in the respect of living on macrumors for the last couple days, waiting for news on the new mbp.
I'm so excited! Im literally standing outside the apple store with my wallet open saying, "now?" the power mac g4 (quicksilver 2002) desktop needs to go to a rest home, it held up for 9 years but alas...
Here is why I think there will be NO press conference.
1. Steve is sick. Too sickly to get up on stage and talk, if he does down goes the stock price.
2. If they had a conference someone else would need to speak. Likely a mixture between Scott Forstall, Schiller, Mansfield, and maybe Ives. They are all decent, but none of them are Steve. A conference isn't the same without Jobs, and we don't need more negative PR based on bad-speakers and no sign of Jobs.
3. Apple realized Jobs may be out of the picture soon (god forbid) but it's possible. Apple has no real front-runner to take his place. Sure, Scott has the face for it, but he can't replace Steve right away.
What is my point? Apple knows that conferences without Steve might generate bad PR. So they want to get people used to releases WITHOUT conferences. People have come to expect amazing things from apple every time with a media event.
Come Thursday we will have some new releases, apple will post a video online like they did with the MBA detailing the design changes (if any).
Lightpeak? Before the recent CNET report everyone doubted it. I still think the chances are slim, but anything is possible.

With the release of Lion or after that is when we might see a keynote event with new Mac designs. Meanwhile they will do like always release some improvements to use the customers as a lab and gather tech details to improve and fix the next release.
Then buyers remorse and hundreds of posts in this forum asking for finding a way to upgrade to the next level.
After the newiPad, iPhone 5 and Lion plus the MobileMe new service is out is when will make sense to cash in for a new Mac.
I think its about time to upgrade my 5 year old 2006 white CD macbook.... here is hoping for a complete redesign![]()
Hahaha, it's that attitude that has bankrupt America.
That is pretty old. You should see a pretty nice performance boost from your upgrade whatever the new models feature.
Yes best buy has RSS, which is the internal inventory system. But since they hire Indians to do all the programming for rss and the website crap like this happens.
