I don't think a MAJOR revision comes until after the release of Lion.

they did a fairly major revision before Snow Leopard. The under utilization of those machines help to sell the kitty. So it could happen again

That said, I wish they would revise say late May. Release Lion in those machines etc. And start Back to School at the same time. Nice big bang.

Wow...

There's a man who's on the last throes of his life and folks are on here clamoring about the timeliness of the potential new updates.

It is not a fact that Steve is 'on the last throes'. You don't have pancreatic cancer, a liver transplant, or both and get over it in a couple of months. Quarterly checkups, hormone issues, weight issues are now a part of his life. It doesn't put a time stamp on him.

As for the other comment, Jobs wants folks to focus on the company products etc and not on him. To rate the company on the products and not his health or presence. So he would likely approve 200% that folks are ignorin that he might maybe perhaps possibily be dying

no one is going to buy that..but by the way this tells us that there will be more than just speed bumps because of the drastic price change
