160GB drives standard, too (that was given away by the blackbook's bump).I can't help but think a June 5th MBP bump is legit.
Now what that bump entails, is anyone's guess.
I'm going with... Santa Rosa, 2GB standard ram, magnetic latch and that's all. I'm just not feeling LED, yet.
I think you're right. I expect LED displays first in a new 13" MBP which will be the one-more-thing at WWDC. Larger sizes will come later.I'm going with... Santa Rosa, 2GB standard ram, magnetic latch and that's all. I'm just not feeling LED, yet.

So if you ordered a MBP right before they were planning to update them, (ordered friday, update is tuesday, delivery scheduled for thursday... etc) would they send you an updated one? or would you get the bottom of the last batch?
Apple has one European warehouse that ships to all European customers,
is it correct to assume that the new MBP's will be priced the same as current models in terms of a 3 tier entry/mid/upper level pricing points but with a bump in performance? Say for example the new entry level 15" unit - will it still be priced at $1999 like today's MBP, but with a possible bump in performance, memory etc... from the current MBP?
thanks!

I'll try to get a better photo tomorrow, but I may have found the model numbers of the new machines. They appear to be MA895 and MA896, but since the photo came out worse than expected, I can't really tell that well now.. I'd ignore the comments about the price before anyone tries to be clever, that's the standard price for new items added onto the system in this store before final confirmation has been made.
I am not bound by any non-disclosure agreements with Apple, but I'm sure the store's buyers are. They have made the error of releasing new iPods onto the systems in the past, but never listed model numbers for unannounced products. Whenever this has happened, new items are usually released within a week.
Some already know where I work, for those that don't and for my own reasons, I will not reiterate here.

What about that rumor (posted on this site and others) that stated Apple ordered a bunch of 15.4 inch LED screens in April?
I seriously hope to see LED screens or at least different screens in the 15-inch MBP. I do not like the grain on the current screens.
Little updates could be:
standard 256mb gfx
user replaceable hdd
cpu speed bump (to differentiate from macbooks)
price drop
so basicly the same as the macbook update from last month
Agreed - this would indeed be a welcome upgrade and seal the deal for my MBP purchase.
