I’ll bet the majority doesn’t care.I'm not the only one who finds this to be an inconvenience sooooo im gonna bet a good majority find this to be a pain. On the flip side yay for you.
Wow so much insightMy Prediction,

(%70 Chance Base M2 MBP will get dropped)
(%50 Chance for a Base M3 MBP)

You would have gotten a notification. Maybe a few notification hours before power ran out. So yeah, bad time management. So, if I'm in the middle of a project and my mouse dies, I have bad time management because I didn't extrapolate out how long my mouse would last? lol
It's amazing how people don't know the reason for the design. The mouse is shaped like that for ease of use for creatives who need to get things done. The charging port is at the bottom because of Apple's mantra of having fun every now and then. Keyboards are not backlit because most of the time, you don't need it and it's environmentally friendly. It's just all so Apple. As much as I hate the charging port on the bottom, what I dislike most about the mouse is how un-ergonomic it is. I can't believe that this design is the best they could do for over a decade. If all they do is change the charging port on the bottom to USB-C I will not at all be surprised. They can't even come up with a backlit keyboard for some reason.
Disagree, period. The port location is bad design, period.
Being able to stop for five minutes has nothing to do with it.
You obviously don't know anything about design, let alone the Apple way of design where everything flows.Honestly this image should go down in history with the "gRaPhIc DeSiGn Is My PaSsIoN" memes as "Industrial design is my passion" or something. At least it will be history soon!
You shouldn't be using apple products if you don't understand the design behind it. Apple has done its research and making the port at the bottom allows people to be more productive in the grand scheme of things. The port location is bad design, period.
Being able to stop for five minutes has nothing to do with it.
Agreed. It would go with the Apple way of less is more.Would be good if they could make the mouse thinner. Also it has too many buttons.
Yeah it's silly but to be fair I use a Logitech MX Vertical, and never use it while it's plugged in, hate a cable on a mouse. And it will still plug into the bottom of the mouse, which we all know is trash. Alright Apple defenders, let's hear how much you like the charging port on the bottom of the MM! It's iconic!! 🤣
Can't be further from the truth. Apple wouldn't release a product if they don't believe in it. That's what makes this company the amazing.Another proof that Timd does NOT uses the products he sells…
There are plenty of photos from Tim Cook's office showing an iMac on his desk. Like most of the desktops at Apple's offices it has a Magic Trackpad instead of a mouse. Those photos are fairly old (it's an Intel iMac) so I'm sure it's been supplanted by a Mac Mini or Mac Studio with a Studio or ProDisplay.I think it’s very likely he really does use an iPhone and Apple Watch. Almost certainly does not use a mouse with his personal Mac, if he even uses one directly much. At his level you have people to use computers for you.
I hate cables on almost everything, but I would rather have the option to use my mouse while charging when needed over not having the option at all.Yeah it's silly but to be fair I use a Logitech MX Vertical, and never use it while it's plugged in, hate a cable on a mouse.
better yet, the MM Pro, made with unobtainium... the golden unicorn of mice. The pro features include the once rumoured long distance wireless charging, as well as biometrics. As long as they don't say it's "made with titanium...."
So sick of seeing that as 'the' major marketing thing for the ip15 -- is that the best they could come up with? (don't answer that)
