Given some of Apple's thinking lately and what passes as 'awesome' marketing, it wouldn't surprise me if the 'amazing' and 'revolutionary' USB-C port for the Might Mouse is located on the top of the mouse....

I can unequivocally state that MagicMouse is the most unergonomic, uncomfortable, useless piece of consumer junk ever created in the history of the universe. I am poorer for having purchased it, injured for having used it, my immortal soul now lost to the Devil Himself for having charged it.

As much as I hate the charging port on the bottom, what I dislike most about the mouse is how un-ergonomic it is. I can't believe that this design is the best they could do for over a decade. If all they do is change the charging port on the bottom to USB-C I will not at all be surprised. They can't even come up with a backlit keyboard for some reason.

My Prediction,
Macs:
(%100 Chance M2/M3 iMac, with USB-C accessories)
(%90 Chance M2P/M2M M3P/M3M MBP)
(%70 Chance Base M2 MBP will get dropped)
(%50 Chance for a Base M3 MBP)
iPad: (Less Likely)
(%30 Chance for iPad Air 6, and iPad 11)
(%10 Chance for iPad Mini 7)
There will be around 4-5 products announced at the event, making the event around an hour, it will start with the iPad refreshes quickly before moving on to the Macs and the M3.
Wow so much insight

It's amazing how people don't know the reason for the design. The mouse is shaped like that for ease of use for creatives who need to get things done. The charging port is at the bottom because of Apple's mantra of having fun every now and then. Keyboards are not backlit because most of the time, you don't need it and it's environmentally friendly. It's just all so Apple.

Honestly this image should go down in history with the "gRaPhIc DeSiGn Is My PaSsIoN" memes as "Industrial design is my passion" or something. At least it will be history soon!
You obviously don't know anything about design, let alone the Apple way of design where everything flows.

The port location is bad design, period.

Being able to stop for five minutes has nothing to do with it.
You shouldn't be using apple products if you don't understand the design behind it. Apple has done its research and making the port at the bottom allows people to be more productive in the grand scheme of things.

As long as they don't say it's "made with titanium...."

So sick of seeing that as 'the' major marketing thing for the ip15 -- is that the best they could come up with? (don't answer that)

And it will still plug into the bottom of the mouse, which we all know is trash. Alright Apple defenders, let's hear how much you like the charging port on the bottom of the MM! It's iconic!! 🤣
Yeah it's silly but to be fair I use a Logitech MX Vertical, and never use it while it's plugged in, hate a cable on a mouse.

Just drop that magic mouse nonsense completely and make a normal productivity mouse lineup with good sensor in two sizes, something like Razer Pro Click and Razer Pro Click Mini, but with normal QA.

I think it’s very likely he really does use an iPhone and Apple Watch. Almost certainly does not use a mouse with his personal Mac, if he even uses one directly much. At his level you have people to use computers for you.
There are plenty of photos from Tim Cook's office showing an iMac on his desk. Like most of the desktops at Apple's offices it has a Magic Trackpad instead of a mouse. Those photos are fairly old (it's an Intel iMac) so I'm sure it's been supplanted by a Mac Mini or Mac Studio with a Studio or ProDisplay.

better yet, the MM Pro, made with unobtainium... the golden unicorn of mice. The pro features include the once rumoured long distance wireless charging, as well as biometrics.

(I have become exhausted by the number of products that now have 'pro' slapped onto their names. Not just Apple, but across all categories of products.)

Gonna laugh if it is the same god awful design with the port on the bottom but USB-C.

1) heavy compared to modern mice
2) doesn't slide well compared to modern mice
3) godawful low polling rate
4) close to zero ergonomics
5) charging port on the bottom side (doesn't even matter actually compared to the rest, break from work is never bad)

6) 40ms click latency
7) Bluetooth-only
8) No multi-device connectivity
