New Photos of Alleged iPhone 5C Packaging and Manual

main reason I think these are fake is because they used the ugly icons from beta iOS 7 which presumably then is going to be what ships on this device even though it isn't even finished beta yet?
 
I thought the iPhone 5C's all had white fronts. This packaging shows black fronts. Is the 5C coming in black? And it doesn't show off the colors well at all. I don't know what to make of this.
 
it looks to me as if they toned down the green of some of the icons a bit since the last beta. But maybe it's just the photo..

anyway, it looks UGLY AS HELL! :eek:

Nearly all (or is it all?) iPhones have launched at the same time as a new version of iOS, and that version has always been installed on the new models from the very day of release. Remember we're expecting the GM of iOS7 any day now, and the actual release (not announcement) of these phones is still probably 2+ weeks away. Apple always works to these timescales.

Yes, it works pretty well on a iphone4s. I guess will be perfect on iphone5 or 5s

Not true. I bought my mom a $100 Samsung android as her first smartphone, and it's usable but she would much prefer an iphone. Lots of people "lust after" iphones but don't but them because of the price (often ignoring total cost of ownership). I'll get one myself if it's more like $300-$350. Otherwise, I'll just buy an ipad mini for the same price. Sorry, not gonna spend more on a phone than an ipad, plus I like talking on my dumb phone while browsing / note taking / etc on my ipad mini.

Apple's supply chain will always be the weak link, when you have a million+ people assembling these things and they can nab a quick grainy shot for a cash backhander.

Now where was the 'accurate' spyshots of iOS 7, iwork for icloud or the macpro before WWDC? All products that Apple could keep a tight rein on.

And for all these shots of 5C's and 5S', no one shown one powered on with whatever unique feature they will likely have. ie. fingerprint biometrics, new camera, other yet unknown feature.

Quite frankly the physical phones themselves are nice in all, but it's the software features enabled by hidden hardware that delivers the real differentiation.

The media event is still over a week away and if they are already showing boxed, ready to go devices like this they may even be available the very next day, let's hope that's the same for the 5S.

Next day? Uhhh no. The same thing happens every year. Invites go out tomorrow so there will be a week of hype from now until the 10th. Then 10 days of hype until it releases on the 20th.
 
Judging from the roughly 36% decrease in price from the full size iPad to the mini ,I think the 5C is going to be priced around 435, based on the iPhone 5 price off 679 of contract . From looking at those pictures its really hard to imagine apple charging into the high four hundreds or low five hundreds .From the pictures I've seen low four hundreds seems reasonable, the casing would also suggest this is a more budget friendly product, and I cant see a 500 price tag being budget friendly , or at least a big enough incentive to shift users of Android , who would perceive the higher price as not worth it .
 
What's wrong with a pink iPhone?

I gave my young daughter a pink iPod and she loves it. What's wrong with using fashion as a marketing tool? How does giving the customer a choice cheapen the brand?

Next to oil fashion is probably the biggest business in the world.

Don't see how this is a problem. My 3 year old ipod touch runs the latest version of iOS. Apple has a much longer upgrade life than android, and you're more likely to have a battery die by the time your iOS is obsolete. Apple has always done a great job with this.

Sorry to say but the aluminium ipod looks very nice and sexy than the plastic iphone 5c

Well I admit that I like the aluminum; but the reaction of the marketplace remains to be seen. Beauty and ugliness are in the eye of the beholder.

It will be fascinating to see what the market says about these. In the end it's the only forum that counts.
