New Photos of Gold/Champagne iPhone 5S Parts Leak

What's everyone's problem?? If you don't want the gold colour then don't get it!!! Simple, You do know they have two other colours to choose from.

Some people hate change, its so annoying.
 
I think that this will actually be extremely popular, not just in other regions of the world, but in the US. While the tech geek demographic won't likely take to it, I think that it will do very well with both younger people who want something classier than the 5C (a status symbol), and especially with the older generation who has popularized gold for ages. Beyond whether it's truly to one's taste, this new color scheme will immediately set the iPhone apart from the rest in store displays for the first time in a while.

In addition, please strike the idea of the yellow/gold faceplate and backing to go with this, the gold will be an accent color to the existing black and white faces. I actually think this second leak gives us four options:
Black/dark aluminum (or possibly a return to the silver color)
Black/Champagne
White/Silver
White/Gold

Honestly, the Black iPhone with Champagne siding could double as a Daft Punk phone.. I could see a LOT of marketing potential with that!

Again, like you, until I see it, I can't say that I would choose one of these new options for myself, but I think it's foolish to call it gaudy, or a mistake, as they've obviously done the research. Frankly, I think my parents would gobble them up!
 
The 2015 Cadillac Escalade will come free with this new gold iPhone to help the wannabe rapper/thug/pimp inside you make you look more like a wannabe rapper/thug/pimp. :D :p

Agreed. Not sure why anyone would choose to get worked up over something that they will never have to purchase. Believe it or not, your black and white phones will still work after they release this.

You serious? It's the new "snob" version of the 5S. Designed to clearly distinguish yourself form those gutter-loving, trailer-park trash people that will go for the 5C.

LOL, so if someone says this phone is for Saudis you consider it racist, but at the same time you say this phone is for Chinese. How is that less "racist" then?
 
If they do go with a gold option and use a black front that might be cool. It would be popular with Purdue Alumni and students.

I can't believe Apple would be doing this, gold is pure kitsch. Design-minded Apple would never do that (not the Apple we know). It really focusses on the idea of "look what I've got" like those Arabs with their chrome super cars. If you're taking that turn in history as a company you know you've failed on other aspects and you're only making a style-accessory. A lot of (Android-) people see Apple as a manufacturer which only focusses on style, but that's not what Apple is about, not the Apple Steve Jobs built.

If Apple is really releasing a gold/champagne iPhone I'll yell "ABANDON SHIP!" and fear for the future of Apple (-products). Stocks would fall dramatically since it's not just a "gold/champagne colored iPhone", it's a statement, a statement current investors would not share.

Well said. If this phone gets released then either Cook leaves Apple pretty soon either Apple dies as it almost did in 90's.

Because I dislike it when products are water-downed to cater to a large consumer market.
 
Instead of releasing an iPhone with a larger display - something probably about half of the phone buyers really want - Cook has decided it's time to release the pimp-phone. I think they might actually have lost it now.

Pretty interesting read actually. In the defence of this little possible gold/champagne idea though:
