couldn’t agree more, in most of apple videos for the iPhone 12 during the keynote and iPhone 12 ad the blue looks stunning.

doesn’t look nothing like most of these photos make it look, can’t wait to get mine.

I was really looking forward to an iPad-like design for the iPhone with the squared off edges. With the iPad it looks sleek and futuristic, but now on the iPhone I'm not sure I like it… somehow it manages to appear old fashioned and cheap. The ugly colours are now an extra blow, and a huge step down from last year's offerings.

Love how a lot of people who were moaning that the iPhone Pro pacific blue should’ve been more like the iPhone 12 blue, now seem to have changed their minds 😬

Very pleased I chose pacific blue over graphite personally :cool:

The SUPER BRIGHT BLUE looks like that effect occurs when illuminated. For example that first image we saw yesterday of socks and sandals guy was with a white phone flash glowing on it.

The top picture here, looks like it is fluorescent bulb light with the persons phone set to >9000 contrast setting.

The natural light pictures that have leaked out look much closer to the rendering. But I get the feeling the colour behind the glass can look drastically different depending on how much light is directed at it.

We shall see 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s definitely the band. Look at payout can see the band on all of them.

As for the color, I think the pacific blue looks really sophisticated.

Essentially ever year a plethora of journalist reviewers and YouTubers are sent the new iPhones a week or so before launch. Along with this comes an embargo which specifies that they're not actually allowed to post their thoughts from the hands-on or any photos or videos until a certain time. The rumor is that this year's 'certain time' is going to be later on this morning, so we should see a bunch of hands-on documentation and reviews post later today.

Haha, right. I agree with what you said that the phone will likely look closer to Apple's renderings than what we're seeing in all of these videos posting today. This second video just looks better than the other one's seen thus far.

Apple aren’t that stupid to give the phone a matte navy frame and a bright baby blueish back, the back of the phone will match the color of the frame just like in apples videos.

can’t wait to get mine.

Graphite looks totally fine. It’s OK. It really is. It’s good enough. You don’t need true black. It’s pretty close. It’s a totally suitable replacement for blac—
Ok, I just can’t. I can’t lie to myself. WHY ISNT BLACK ON THE PRO LINE. I NEED IT. I am even more angry now that I’ve seen these pics. 😩
 
I was always going to get a Pro, because I want the larger screen of the Pro Max. Now I am thinking it has to be the blue. Very nice. It looks like “slate blue,” which I love.
