I genuinely don’t understand why or how sex has become a thing that so many people feel the need to tout so publicly. What a strange reality we live in.

To be clear, this is just an observation. Not a political comment.
Because it’s not really about sex. When you see a man and woman walk down the street holding hands are they flaunting their sexual activities? No. It’s romance, family, relationships, life.

It’s in poor taste for Apple to include gay pride watch faces, just like it would be in poor taste for Apple to include straight pride watch faces. Taking political sides is divisive because it excludes large groups of customers.

Apple should be apolitical. But an apolitical approach won’t happen due to Apple SJW CEO Tim Cook.
This mentality is ... bizarre.

Supporting a cause of an underrepresented, and historically abused and persecuted class is not some slight or attack against people who they don't have watch faces for. Flipping around support of Pride as some form of divisiveness against you is just not cool and ony further evidences WHY more messaging for pride is still relevant in 2019

I do not like when companies become political and so on, but it's certainly their right to do so, and it's our right to buy from them or not. People should stop looking at companies as if buying one of their products will make us/society become one way or another. A Starbucks cup ain't going to make me gay exactly as a Chick-Fil-A ain't going to make me a pious Christian. I just enjoy the coffee, and the chicken sandwich.

“Real cool 70s retro”. This does not compute. You must be young.

Anyone who was forced to wear or buy anything from the 70s during the 70s cannot fathom why anyone would want to bring back any of the mustard brown and avocado bubble font trash heap that was 70s design.

I'm probably older than you since you couldn't guess my age based on my avatar. ;-)

It does suck though when one of the best chicken sandwiches around is sold by a company who participates in such bigotry though.

but it's the free market. While I disagree with their position / stance. it's up to us, the consumer to decide if they should be punished for it by shopping or not shopping.

However, Even if it's our right to shop or not based on hate/bigotrious (is that even a word?) reasons. Doesn't mean those reason are any less repugnant for their thoughts.

What does Apple have against analog watch faces with numerals on them?! I struggle to tell the time with the newly released fire and water faces, and I expect these to be the same. Which is a shame.
Would love the option to add numbers, like Utility and Chronograph (I don't count Hermes, as it's not standard!)

Exactly. If you can't see a gay person (or gay couple) without your mind jumping to their sex life, that's not on the person/people—that's on you. Let gay people be proud of who they are just as the straights have for ages.

Yeah, it might suck, as for other people what Starbucks/Nike/Apple does suck. That's why I do not care about their political stance, as long as they keep it legal. I buy their product, not their ideology as worthy or as horrible it might be. The fact is that companies have found that in 201x politics sells, A LOT.

Exactly... but come on... you want that chicken sandwich... extra crispy... waiting for you... it's just calling your name... :p

And that's a personal evaluation.

That narrow black space in between the lines kills it IMHO.

They are thick because the pictures you are looking at are 3 times as bigger of an actual Watch.

We live in a "me, me, look at me" era, where people are convinced (and convinced themselves) that the world cares about their sexuality, tastes, life, cats/puppies, possessions, habits, kids, etc to a point that has reached the insane. Sexuality is just a tiny portion of it.

It's not about telling people how do you like to have sex, it's about putting on display who you are because a part of society would like for you to leave your life hidden in shame, deny you basic right and other things that in 2019 one expects anyone with a couple of working brain cell to understand easily.

Where are the religious watch faces? Oh wait... Apple would never allow having something for everyone. How inclusive of them.

Are you a real believer or just a troll? Because religious are an idea so shallow and disrespectful when it comes to the feeling of faith that I can't believe an actual religious person would ask for them...but maybe you are American and I wouldn't be surprised if some of you had a McDonaldised idea of faith and still think themselves believers. After all I understand you have christians that support death penalty, weapons and racism, all things for which Jesus would roll over in his grave were he not risen.

lol, we are in the USA. It's funny how liberals think they have it so bad here, but completely ignore what muslim countries do to gays in the Middle East.
Just because XYZ country is better or worse than us does not mean we cannot strive to improve. Having family and friends that have been treated poorly and bullied due to being gay, I am glad a company like Apple stands behind them and their freedom to express themselves. It's getting better in this country, but we have a long way to go.

I get more crap for being a Trump supporter than I do for being gay.
