It’s in poor taste for Apple to include gay pride watch faces, just like it would be in poor taste for Apple to include straight pride watch faces. Taking political sides is divisive because it excludes large groups of customers.

Apple should be apolitical. But an apolitical approach won’t happen due to Apple SJW CEO Tim Cook.

And what political message is Apple exactly sending here?

Because doing this is a political statement on Apple's part. I cynical enough to think they are doing it for financial reasons rather than some of the social justice reasons other seem to believe, but to each his own.

Good to know you realise you’re cynical. Apple is about inclusion, and yes that’s part of their brand, but with Tim as the CEO I find it hard to be cynical about their motivations here.

I get more crap for being a Trump supporter than I do for being gay.

Wait? Both aren’t mutually exclusive?

What right an LGBT+ individual doesn't have in 2019 America? Be specific please.

If you don’t know anything about a subject, then why the need to express your opinion? Because, you’re not just “asking”, but trying making a statement and failing to do so because clearly you’re not a member of the LGBTQ community.

Did I? I just responded to someones post. Are there a lot of religious watch faces? I don't own the Apple watch since Android watches look better and works fine with my iPhone. As for "pushing a political agenda"....Yes Apple does this constantly. Removes religious podcasts, etc while pushing pro everything left leaning. I like companies to be impartial..I admit that. Stating facts does not mean I am "Upset" or "Emotional".

What religious podcasts have been removed?

Lol, as a gay man I agree with him 1000%. Maybe you should sit down since clearly you aren't a member of the LGBTQ community. That is why I love Trump, he see's me as an American. The Democrats see me as a gay vote they can manipulate. Same with all the other minorities out there.

Segregation is what democrats are best at.

They're under no obligation to provide watch faces for every political persuasion. But if they did want to provide those, it would be not be a problem.

This is the typical hypocrisy. If Apple were pushing conservative views, you all would not be clambering for them to be "apolitical". You would be praising them. It's not about them taking political stances, it's about what political stances they take.

Lol, nice straw man. Most of us conservatives would rather have politics be out of our tech. But alas, here we are because most tech companies are liberal and think they know better than the rest of us.

So I guess you complained when Hobby Lobby and Chick-fil-a took conservative stances? Or is it only tech companies that have the apolitical imperative?

Really? Then why does Apple remove conservative podcasts and apps? I am for free speech, and welcome the views from the left. Even if I don't agree with much of the ideology. If they were 100% conservative, and censoring liberal speech you can bet I would be all over them.

God you are so boring. Stay on the democrat plantation, we don't need you.
I’ll edit my post here as the mods are ban happy for name calling...

Suffice it to say I was only joking. I support gay rights and I support our president even though I don’t agree with most things he does. I’m sorry I offended you, it’s difficult to know who has a sense of humor around here and who doesn’t. Have a nice day.

Ask yourself why most tech companies are liberal. They're not exactly popping up in red states, where education is being slashed the bible is being forced into the curriculum.

These are soo gay. What kind of guy do they have running Apple? It is almost like there is an agenda at this point. If only Steve was still around. He never would sign off on bright, beautiful colors to add some taste to their products /s
Original iMacs?
Original iBooks?
iPod Shuffles and Nanos

Absolutely disgusted by these. I can’t believe Apple would release gay pride analog faces without numerals. Some of us prefer to have them visible at all times!

Dad gum librals all high and mighty!

I like these watch faces. I like colorful things! Remember when Apple’s logo was a rainbow? Pepperidge Farm rememberers.

Oh is Chick-Fila-A and Hobby Lobby putting anti-lgbtq literature on their receipts? Honestly I don't give a crap if Apple panders to the gays. But donating to pro-family organizations is not the same as what Apple is doing.

Ok so it seems you’re playing fast an lose with the truth here.
That app was removed not because it was a religious app but because it was advocating for gay conversion therapy and calling a gay lifestyle as destructive.

Not hard and fast on the truth at all. It was 100% truth. Bible believing Christians are going to think the gay lifestyle is wrong. Free speech should be welcomed and not suppressed. That would be fascism.
