Corner radius is really nice. A lot less boxy. And as always, in-person, the new design will give a different perception than some enlarged product photos. Obviously the crownguard provides some functional imperative and still aesthetically looks better than other “smartwatch.”

BREAKING NEWS:
——————————-
anyone noticed that it LITERALLY says “apps like hiking and safari”

Safari is coming to the Apple Watch. Finally. Do an article on this.

that was a fake, hypothetical apple ad based on the CAD drawing. macrumors does not have any info on safari coming to the apple watch.

Man, these mockups trying to copy Apple's advertising makes me CRINGE 😬
It only takes a casual look at Apple's website to see they'd never use such sweaty headlines. That first one would say "Breathe Out" or something, and then they'd go into (a few) details below.

Why do mockups need to copy Apple with their advertising and slogans, it's so cringeworthy. 😖

Makes me cringe as hard as when YouTubers hype up a mockup with a video trying to copy Apple's reveal presentation, and it makes me cringe even harder when that mockup was straight up wrong. cough cough Jon Prosser.

I like the mockups though.

Man I really would like to upgrade but that sticker is kinda painful. The only saving grace is that I'm able to trade in my AW^ for a couple hundred off at least (or the sales tax in my state lol). I long for better battery life and more storage for more music and apps

I like the flat display need to see the rest of the design when it's released. Pretty certain it will be too rich for my blood anyway.

Would be nice to have the flat display design on the regular version but won't likely be seeing that anytime soon.
