The past four were released on fridays. I personally expect tomorrow because I doubt apple will want to release hardware and software on the same day, not to mention don't they report their financial quarter on tuesday?

No, that's kind of my point. The features aren't really that different than SL, other than Mail looking different, Spaces being kind of borked and the Finder running faster now (that part I lllllllllllllllllliiiiiiiiiike). Otherwise I'm not noticing anything too different on a day-to-day basis.
But I hear July 16th it should be coming out. Seriously, it's a trusted source

Hey folks, just signed up to Macrumors after lurking for many years, getting familiar with the surroundings and wanted to quickly post something to make it official so I came up with this observation: I noticed that every single OSX release since Panther (Panther, Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard) had a Friday release date...not sure if this means anything, but hoping Apple continues the pattern with a release today...anybody else notice this pattern or is it just me?

I've been using Mac Since Cheetah came out and Cheetah came out on a Saturday and Puma came out on a Tuesday. I don't know which version you were talking about that they were released on Friday.
Snow Leopard, Jaguar, Panther and Tiger were released on Friday though so I guess it could be possible
