No! It's the same as before wwdc, they are updating the store continuously before next weeks updates... You know, like preparing the ML wallpaper on the 2011 iMac images and such![]()
Yup, same as before wwdc.

Check this out guys...https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/15271638/
Yup, same as before wwdc.
specs are the same though. the graphics on the page were screwy for a bit but now they are back to normal. a few people in that thread also indicated that it has said "new" for a while now.
sorry to get hopes up![]()
Lately I've been going to store.apple.com, putting 1 of each iMac in my cart, and for each one in sequence picking "ship to store". I put in my zip code and it shows me the Apple stores w/in 50 miles. Most say "in stock", and some say "check availability" and you click that to get their expected date.
Today is the same as yesterday - all stores have both 21", 2 stores have no base 27", and 2 stores have no top 27".
So what does this mean?
So what does this mean?
9to5mac has been very explicit on this "This year, Mountain Lion isnt being launched alongside hardware" so what do we make of the prospects of 24/25 July?
9to5mac states "Mountain Lion isn't being launch alongside hardware", this could also be taken to mean, no new hardware... i.e. No refresh, but it does not necessarily exclude a silent spec bump...
So what does this mean?
I would LIKE to truly believe this BUT unfortunately something tells me I'd be clatching at straws! Been waiting since April and it's getting ridiculous really
The 9to5 "report" really looks to have been fabricated out of whole cloth. Stand by and let ML release and see what happens.

Really? Proper deceit or are we talking 'shooting from the hip' type fabrication? I hadn't realised that. How did you find out about it? Really, really do hope you are right
they should start asking the sources more about whats going on with the imacs.
More of the latter. The activity they described would be in the overnight would be the same thing they do after closing every day anyway, just with a different image. There wouldn't really be a need for an overnight if all they were doing was installing ML on the demos and hanging a couple banners.
Sadly that doesn't sell 'copy' as they used to say in the newspaper industry last century...to me, the most important argument which may - just may - give me a glimmer of hope that 9to5 have got it wrong is the one about the need for overnights when essentially they are telling us there is no hardware launches. If there are overnights planned, it seems unlikely that it would be for an appstore only software release. Thoughts? Perhaps I am clatching at straws.

Note that in another thread someone noted that a supply-constrained reseller is suddenly getting a large shipment on July 30.. this could mean any of the following:
- The model launches on July 25 and it takes a few extra days to get them to resellers
- The model launches on July 30
- They've been refusing large orders on 2011 models so that resellers will get them with ML when ML launches
I don't find the 3rd likely, but it's plausible.
