Sorry but THIS is really troubling

I know people are ****** sick of bendgate but this video is really troubling. I had my doubts with the authenticity of Unbox Therapy's video, but this one is concerns me.

iPhone 6 Plus Bend: Total Destruction\

I understand real world use will never see something like this unless done deliberately, but honestly, I can't say Im not worried about that one instance in real life where maybe I'm crammed in car with a bunch of people...or at the gym...or have the device in a backpack while on an airplane, etc......I tried bending my iPhone 5S the exact same way and it only creaked a little bit (i took 2 pencils and applied enough force to break them then attempted to translate that same amount of force to the iPhone 5S)

Yep one writer from Business Insider just walked into an Apple Store and bent a Plus and posted pics. Also some kids in London walked into an Apple Store and bent several and have it on video.

We know the phone bends.

If you bend it.

I returned my 6 +. Well not yet since I'm still waiting for the 6 to be in stock.

But the phones just too big and thin for me. My mom got it and it's slightly bent and she puts it in her purse. Not a good design from apple in my opinion.

You need to give these forums a break for a while if it upsets you!

If you are crammed in a car with a bunch of people and you sit hard enough on your 6 Plus, it may bend. The chance are small but if you abuse your phone, ANY PHONE, it might result in damage!

The mods need to start closing these thread up like "wack-a mole"!

More details please, type of purse, typical contents. This is worrisome..

First off, this dude puts a lot of pressure on it, even though he says he isn't. He goes white-knuckle and basically looks to aim in destroying it.

But that's not even the point. On Sept 18, no one in the world ever cared about bending their phone, nor did they worry about it. Now all of a sudden people are crying about the fact that a phone can bend. This is something that truly doesn't matter. If your phone bends a little bit but keeps working, find something worthwhile to complain about in your life.

Of course any phone will bend, but the undeniable fact is the iPhone 6/6+ is weaker than ***PREVIOUS GENERATION IPHONES .. Also consider situations where the previous generation phones would not bend because of their small footprint where the 6 Plus would. I love my 6 Plus, I really do, but I'm not gonna put my fingers in my ears and sing like this isn't a real issue.

OMG....Listen just don't get an iPhone Plus if this such a concern of yours. Really there alot of peeps waiting 3 -4 weeks out for a iPhone 6 Plus.

That way you aren't freaked out, and everyone can move up in line. :)

I'm sorry, Consumer Reports RIPPED Apple a new one for Antennagate and now you don't believe their bend test? CNN has done testing too and found it improbable you'd bend your phone in "normal" use.

If someone can produce video evidence contradicting Consumer Reports testing with an iPhone bending under "barely" any (measured) force, I'll be worried about my iPhone 6+ in my pocket. Otherwise it's all noise from people with more time and money than brains.

Need facts before I can make the decision. If it indeed got bent from typical usage in a purse, then I'll wait for a hardware fix.

we get it, the phone bends if you put alot of pressure on it, i never expected any smartphone i buy to be "bend proof". but where the new iPhones DO shine is outbesting the competition in drop tests, slide tests on surfaces and shock tests (squaretrades testing says this)

i would very much rather have a phone that is more durable to drop damage, sliding across surfaces and how well it can absorb shock then it being "a bit more bendable if you forcibly bend it" lol

Undeniable fact? You sure you understand what those two words mean?

I'm more concerned that Apple will quietly reinforce the weak point on the 6 Plus and then deny warranty coverage to us early adopters in the event we see bending under normal use. Whatever, I love my 6 Plus and I'm still going to keep it... but I'm also not going to pretend like there isn't an issue here.

Anyone saying they don't bend is delusional. Anyone saying it takes a Mack Truck to bend them are not of this world. They bend, they don't bend back. Done and Done.

I don't get it, I know I can do this with my Nexus 5. I can probably do it with my fiances IPhone 5.
