For a $1200 phone this should have been included!
You are aware EarPods are included, right?

Apple is having trouble keeping up with demand for AirPods, so it would drive up the price of AirPods for the rest of us due to scarcity if they included them with the 218 million iPhones they sold last year.

I'd rather be able to buy the AirPods alone than to have to buy a new phone to get them.

Oh great. More crappy overpriced bluetooth earbuds.
[doublepost=1544019948][/doublepost]
what about people who are concerned with having bluetooth technology right next to your head on both sides.

Those people should re-take 4th grade science and realise that RF is harmless, especially at the microscopic power levels bluetooth uses.

Great stuff.
And with a wire, they wouldn’t get lost, have better audio w/o lag, no charging needed.

Of all the Apple products I’ve owned over the past few decades, AirPods might be my favorite. I love them so much.

they are awesome. i remember a lot of people making fun of them. they were outside the box and most of all, they delivered. now the copies come and they will help drive the price cheaper. i love them. apple needs to keep evolving though.

Used to like AirPods (sans the fit, sound leak and poor microphone ;)). Got the Jabra's Elite Active 65t and WOW. Never looked back.

Why would you look back with headphones? You can't hear anything going on around you.

Great stuff.

If they were louder you wouldn't need to put them in your ear.

I like Apple, but too bad their earpods and airpods won't stay put in my ears! They are always falling out, and I'm old and not that active. Another case where they thought they could make it look sleek and shiny and didn't bother to consider if they actualy work, as in stay in your ear. Only a moron would design super slippery ear pieces. I give them 5 thumbs down and one finger up for an expensive design that fails to stay in my ears.

I ended up getting some bose sleepbuds and I can't say enough good things about them. I can see how a "smart bud" could be a thing of the future. Tiny and comfortable. Able to enhance quite noises, mitigate or mute loud noises, play white noise for focus, etc. Add some health features, some cool AI feedback... Anyone see the movie Upgrade? =)

BeatsX come with soft tips in 3 different sizes, with most of the same features as AirPods.

Does this item play your own music too?
I checked out Bose site but it still not clear if it can play your own music too.

Starting to see them everywhere recently in Japan. Only the past 2 months though. Before that it was like finding hens' teeth. They are a great product and they totally changed my experience with the iPhone as I consume content on it due to work and travel. It used to drive me crazy getting constantly caught up with those cables.

I used to make fun of the design but was always intrigued and worried at the same time about the fit. My sister had a pair that she barely used. Once I got used to them there has been no looking back. One of the best products by Apple.

I’m an audio guy so I know there’s better options but I’ve been extremely pleased with my pair. Only problem is since going to the XS Max I’ve been getting issues... dropped connections, one ear cutting out, etc. getting close to going to support and seeing why this is happening. Up to then they’ve been flawless....

Unless they find a way to slow down my music, I won't be updating, they work great now. :D
I run into issues where they sometimes connect to the wrong Apple product, or they say “connected” but aren’t and require me to remove them, put them back in the case, then out them back in the ear.

Mine work as advertised about 85% of the time.

You must be of the Dongle/Notch generation.

Sounds like Airpod throttling has started...
Soon you may be advised to upgrade.
It’s called ambient computing, AirPods are the crack in the door.
Smart earbud market? Now you're just making things up.
Now with these crazy overpriced iPhones, I’ve come to depend on guest pairing mode to allow for listening in with my nearest neighbors’ device

For me, removing that headphone jack was one of the best things Apple did. I just can't imagine going back to wired music listening.... never again!
Sure. That bigger taptic engine is sooo much better.

You know exactly what I'm talking about right? Here we go again talking about a unicorn supply constraints of AirPods that never existed except the first it came out because Apple wants it to be like there's a high demand on it. It's says right on this article AirPod is not that popular and there's no scarcity. I bet you can walk into a carrier store and get one for yourself or even Target or too lazy to get out, you can get it from Amazon right now and it will be in your front door in 2 days. So stop talking about the fake AirPods scarcity there's no such thing and you can check in the mall later or park and you're lucky if you found 1 person using it.

You don't, but does it matter because people are going to assume they are Apple.

You know you are always being blasted with the Earth's magnetic field, radiation and radio waves...
Yes, but that does not mean that getting more won't make a difference.

So yes we are already blasted daily, should we add more because of that?
