any info on the upcoming sensor?

While we're talking, any info on the current sensor as i've always found the iphone pics are pretty good for a cameraphone..
 
The largest monitor resolution a consumer can buy is 2560x1600.

that's about almost 4.1MP.

99.99% of the time on the internet, you'd look at images that are 15% this size. 800x600, 1024x768, even 1280x1024 is rare. More pixels isn't necessarily a bad thing but only if you want to pixel peep, crop in, or shoot home made map images.

I'll take a 3.2MP high quality lens with flash than an 8MP low quality camera any day.
 
Here's another example, that is as logically sound as yours:
Premise: All dogs have 4 legs
Premise: My cat has 4 legs
Conclusion: My cat is a dog

No wonder my cat plays fetch! :eek: Note: She did for a while, not sure if she still will though.
